Emmy Nom Lee Pace Teases Daisies‘ New Season, Shares Casting Scoop — TV Guide
Pace talked up Pushing Daisies‘ Season 2 opener (airing Oct. 1), in which the killer at large is offing people with… bees. “It’s a fun case,” he said. “It throws you back to that Daisies style — fun, whimsical and totally romantic.”
Several cool guest stars are set to appear also this season. In addition to Fred Willard (as a murdered magician) and David Arquette (as a bud of Ned’s, “a misfit who has a hard time making friends”), Pace revealed that Mary Kay Place would be stopping by.
All told, he said, “This season has nice big story arcs that deal with their families, and every week there’s a fun case to solve. It’s really good TV.”
