Here’s some interesting spoilers Jason Priestley disclosed to TV Guide on the new season of a Secret Life of the American Teenager
Jason Priestley is in the midst of directing his fourth of five episodes of Secret Life, set to return Jan. 5. He promises that while Ben and Amy get married, it doesn’t necessarily mean Amy has broken things off completely with Ricky, the father of her baby. Not that Priestley gave too much away.
“There’s a — ohhh man. Gotta pretty tight-lipped about all this Secret Life stuff,” he said. “Ben and Amy go through with their wedding but then obviously…. Amy and Ricky try to… Amy and Ricky sort of… This is tough, I’m gonna get in trouble if I tell you too much.”
Is there early marital trouble?
“Things don’t go as planned,” Priestley said. “Let me put it to you that way.” Source: TV Guide
90210 has been without the overt bitchiness expected of it for most of the season. Until tonight. The entire episode was a vengeance ploy by Naomi to get back at Annie, who has been secretly hooking up with her ex-boyfriend Ethan. A pretty typical prime time soap opera story line, except that Naomi goes to ridiculous lengths to exact the revenge she desires. She’s kind of a loon. Story-wise, this is what, I think, fans have been waiting for. Unfortunately, the execution wasn’t quite there. 90210 hasn’t yet shown the consistency of a quality show. The potential is there, 90210 just has to harness it.
The story, once again, revolves around a party. Annie is turning 16 years old, so she’s having a Sweet Sixteen party. Naomi knows that Ethan and Annie are hooking up, but Ethan and Annie don’t know that she knows. To get back at her, Naomi decides to secretly fly in Annie’s ex, Jason, from Kansas. Chaos ensues. Meanwhile, Ryan Matthews begins his leave of absence, as all the students think that he has hooked up with a student. They still do not know that she is a Narc. Kelly Taylor returns home and is shocked to learn about Ryan….READ FULL RECAP AT BUDDY TV
In a scene for an upcoming episode (2.14), a man (character unidentified) is on the phone with a Catherine Tudor, a worker at Child Services in Dorchester, Mass. She has called him back. The man is inquiring about an adoption. Catherine tells him, they don’t have a record of the adoption. The man is not shocked and claims to have “spent the last ten days striking out at every adoption agency in Boston, so it’s not exactly a surprise.” Catherine responds that the adoption must have been private, and tells the man “Your one hope is to contact the mother, the one who gave up the child.”
Who’s the child? Who’s the mother? There were rumors of a major secret in Lily Van Der Woodsen’s past is this it? Was the child Rufus’s? Is it all too far fetched or do you think the story line fits and are we in for a quite a new journey? Leave your guesses in the comments. More info is bound to come out about the storyline soon! — Source: Spoiler Junkie
