90210 (May 19, CW)
OMG, it’s time for the prom, which is totally fun, unless you’re newly engaged Adrianna, who is, like, nine-and-a-half months pregnant and ready to pop. Then your mind might be more focused on, say, labor, into which she goes during this episode. Conveniently, baby-wanting Brenda (Shannen Doherty) is on the scene as well. Also: Teasy moles say that decisions are made that have “life-and-death consequences.” What could that mean for Ethan (Dustin Milligan), who was recently cut from the cast roster? Question: 90210 has turned a corner. I’m hooked. Scoop, please.

It’s so bad it’s awesome, right? Here’s a little big scooplet: Liam will sleep with someone in the finale … and it’s not Naomi! (Or *****!) Source: The Ausiello Files

Question: Any chance Dustin Milligan will return to 90210 to wrap up his story next season?

No. He will not be back. Source: The Ausiello Files

There’s some problem with her sister. She comes in and she definitely makes things tough in 90210. People are definitely going to be angry and betrayed,” Matt revealed previously. Smallville Season Finale Spoilers!

General Season Finale Spoilers!

Any hints on what villains are coming to Smallville?
A few fan faves will be back next season, but we’ll have to wait a while to find out the rest. Says Brian Peterson, “We introduced several this year that we’ll probably bring back next year. We loved Zatanna. We looked at a few others that we want to introduce, but we’re going to wait for Comic-Con to release all that.” One hero you won’t see stopping by is Batman. Though the producers really want to have him on the show, Kelly Sounders says there’s still trouble with the franchise crossovers: “Obviously everybody wants to keep all the franchises going and give the fans what they want in each. If that opening ever, ever occurs, we’ll be all over it.” Source: Kristin on E!Online

Can you give more scoop on the Smallville finale death?
Just that there was a consensus in the comments section of our recent Smallville item about which character is dying, and it was not correct. That’s all you’ll get on that matter, but we will tease that executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders officially confirmed the return of Tom Welling and Erica Durance, so count them safe. Speaking of the finale, Cassidy Freeman says Tess Mercer is on the hunt for Davis, “Because I want Clark to accept the fact that he is Superman, and I don’t think he can do that until he fights Doomsday.” Throw down! Smallville: Will Chloe Survive?

Source: Kristin on E!Online

Smallville

Smallville has taken a dark turn this season, especially with the introduction of Doomsday (Sam Witwer), who is the only DC villain able to kill Superman. That would seem like a rough break for Tom Welling, except that Clark Kent is not one of the two characters kicking the bucket in the season finale. Fellow fan favorite Chloe Suliivan (Allison Mack), on the other hand, has been considered very much in the line of fire, especially since producers tell us next season’s stories line up closely with the DC mythology—the same Superman mythology that does not include Chloe Sullivan. However, there’s hope on the horizon! Executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders teased some upcoming storylines for Chloe that could land her in the Watchtower next season, instead of a grave. That’s not the case for two other characters on Smallville who will be saying goodbye for good, and Brian teases there may actually be a third death. Plus, find out why Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark fans can expect to squee in the finale…

Are Clark and Doomsday throwing down in the finale?
Brian Peterson: It’s what everybody has probably been watching for the whole season. There will be a big throwdown between Doomsday and Clark.
Kelly Souders: Clark meets his match.

How does Chloe come between Clark and Davis?
KS: I think Chloe takes a very integral part in trying to keep the two fated nemeses apart from each other. It’s hard; trouble just seems to find Clark Kent.
BP: We want in the audience to the question is Chloe doing this because she’s starting to fall for Davis, or is Chloe doing this because she’s really protecting Clark? I think we walk that line pretty carefully, I hope.

Let’s talk about the major death. Is it two people dying or maybe one is just leaving the show?
KS: I will say it’s Smallville, anything can happen, but I don’t expect a dry eye in the house. It’s not one of those things where someone just goes down and walks out of it the next minute, unfortunately. There’s a lot of doom in Doomsday.

Allison Mack, SmallvilleMany of the fans are worried that Chloe is dying since she is not apart of the Superman mythology.
KS: It’s a scary future for Chloe Sullivan because you never know what’s going to happen because of that exact fact.
BP: She has put herself in the middle of harms way this year.
KS: All we can say is her tragic arc has a very tragic ending this year.

So it could be either Chloe or Davis dying?
BP: Well there are two deaths, it could be one or the other, or both.
KS: Both or someone else could be thrown in that mix.
BP: The other thing I will just say for the people who watch on a deeper level, there’s a metaphorical death that happens on the show as well, so hopefully people can dig deep into their intellect and psyche and have fun with that.
KS: Actually all of [what happens] is in order to line up with the DC mythology, we’ll throw that out there too. Obviously we created our own version of Doomsday on the show, but ultimately, everything we do in the finale is in order to line up with the DC mythology.

So Chloe may never really find love then?
KS: Chloe’s love life is just one of the most doomed elements in television history. She has not had a lot of luck in love and I’m afraid that in the finale, she doesn’t get much luckier. Maybe someday, you never know. I’ll just tease that.

Heard that! Chloe could be sticking around! How about Clark and Lois’ love life?
KS: For Clark/Lois fans, I think they will be having many fits in the finale. We just watched part of it cut together and I have to say there’s one of the most quintessential Clark/Lois moments in the finale. It’s so good. They have such great chemistry.

Is there anything in the finale that’s really going to shock the fans?
BP: It’s a pretty heavy season finale, but I think it will launch a really great season next year.
KS: You’re definitely going to see the Justice League in a way you’ve never seen them before. Clark and Oliver’s (Justin Hartley) relationship is going to really be pushed to the brink. I think it’s going to be really shocking for the fans to see the season finale. Clark definitely emerges in a different place than he started the season in. [Next season] he has to overcome, he has to be Superman.

Smallville, Tom WellingJust out of professional curiosity, does that mean we’ll see Tom Welling in some spandex tights next year? I know the fans really want to see that.
BP: Probably not as soon as you expect, but you never know. The one person who doesn’t want to see that unfortunately is Tom Welling, so that’s a bigger conversation.

Has there been talk of other members of the Justice League crossing over in the finale or next season?
BP: We started what will hopefully be a new focus of the show that we’ll be bringing in allies for Clark next year. We had a lot of DC villains this year and a lot of DC heroes and we’re hoping to continue that into next year. We teased a little piece of Chloe and her arc and how she might play a role in that next year.

Okay, heard it again! “Next year!” She must survive! So as far as next season, will Clark be running around saving the rest of the world and not just Metropolis next season?
BP: Clark may have some significant obstacles in his destiny next year. It may be the darkness before the rise of Superman. He’s going to face probably his darkest hour I would say. He really was on a trajectory this year, but he’s made some decisions that put him down a different path.
KS: He’s going to be paying the price for some rather large mistakes from the finale.

Smallville Preview: Will Lois and the Blur Make for a Hot Story?

Source: TV Guide Online

Erica Durance

This week on the CW’s Smallville (Thursdays, 8 pm/ET), the increasingly intrepid reporter Lois Lane decides that to “catch” a superhero, one must become one. Literally. In Part 1 of our Q&A with Erica Durance, the actress discusses Lois’ wild plan, shares the secrets behind her skintight outfit, and previews Smallville‘s next step toward the Superman mythology’s famous love “triangle.”

TVGuide.com: Let’s talk about this week’s episode, “Stiletto”: What is Lois up to?
Erica Durance:
[Laughs] When I got this script I had such a good laugh, and I was so excited. Just the whole aspect that Lois gets this bright idea of, “What other way to get a story than be the story?” Once again, she gets into a fight and has to teach a guy a lesson, because he tries to mess with Chloe, and that gives her the idea to become a superhero. She makes her own costume — because apparently she can whip out a leather outfit on a whim — and becomes “Stiletto.”

TVGuide.com: Does this ultimately fall under the heading of “ill-advised ideas”?
Durance:
She finds out, as time goes by, that perhaps it wasn’t her best idea. There are a couple of close calls with some of her friends, and she realizes that this is maybe not the best way to go about getting a story. But what I love about Lois is that she’s willing to go and give 200 percent to something like that, and if she’s wrong, she’s willing to say, “Hey, I’m human, and it was a bad idea.” But through all of this, she does get one thing — her first one-on-one phone conversation with the Red-Blue Blur.

TVGuide.com: A phone conversation, eh? Because in the spring preview I got from the producers, they said that the most romantic moment comes in this episode: “Phone booth. Lois. Red-Blue Blur.”
Durance:
What I find is really beautiful about it is that it’s starting that mythology that everyone loves — Lois Lane’s obsession and absolute love for the Red-Blue Blur and her kind of dismissal of Clark as this somewhat dweeby guy who works at the newspaper. But what’s really lovely is you get to see Clark see Lois in a totally different light — she’s smitten and sweet, and her barriers are down as she’s talking to the Red-Blue Blur — and that is really romantic. I loved shooting it.

TVGuide.com: So this episode will bring Lois and the Red-Blue Blur closer, but not necessarily Lois and Clark?
Durance:
It brings Lois and the Blur closer, and then from Clark’s point of view, he becomes closer to Lois, because he gets to see this side of her that is so honest and very, very generous. From there, [the writers] start building things for the remainder of this season.

TVGuide.com: What’s the hardest thing you had to do there in the stilettos?
Durance:
When I had to swing through the roof, on the wire [harness], and kick the guy in the face, that was really hard. Here’s a tidbit: I had two costumes — one I could wear while doing stunts and that I could somewhat move around in, and a “hero” version that I literally could not sit down in. They had to make me a “leaning post,” where in between takes I could lean back. I was like Hannibal Lecter.

TVGuide.com: Why couldn’t you sit down in the “hero” costume?
Durance:
Because it was all leather, from head to toe, and the boots were past my thigh. Plus I’m in 6-inch stilettos. When I think of all the strange costumes I have worn on the show, this one takes the cake!

Next week, in Part 2 of our Q&A: Erica Durance reflects on one of this season’s most challenging episodes, then looks ahead to a big season-finale showdown.

General Season 4 Spoilers

Series creator Silvio Horta reveals about next season: We’re going to explore [Justin's sexuality]. He’ll be going to high school and getting older, so we’ll definitely be exploring that. We want to see Marc and Amanda’s love lives. [Betty's] braces will be off by the end of next season. Next year, there’s going to be a progression in her look overall. It’ll still be Betty, but you’ll see some growth in that direction. Source: The Ausiello Files

What is going on with the long-rumored Ugly Betty musical episode? It’s definitely not going to happen this season. Vanessa Williams (Wilhelmina Slater) tells us, “If it’s going to happen, it would be next year, and now that we’re in New York, we have Broadway talent at our fingertips. I really hope it happens this fourth season.” (Meanwhile, if singing is what you want, well, Vanessa’s new album, The Real Thing, is out June 2.) Source: Kristin on E!Online

‘Ugly Betty’ scoop: The braces are coming off!

Are you looking at Matt and Betty as a long-term couple?
SILVIO HORTA:
As long-term as it gets in TV. As with any romance, there will be obstacles as well as some misunderstandings before the finale, and it’s going to lead to some juicy stuff next year. Matt’s going to be around and their relationship is going to be changing and growing.

How significantly will Henry’s return threaten their relationship?
HORTA:
They’ve both moved on, but they obviously are still an important part of each others’ lives and that’s going to become a complication. There’s going to be feelings of insecurity on Matt’s side, and there are some unresolved things between Henry and Betty.

Speaking of Betty’s exes, might we see Gio again?
HORTA:
Potentially, but there are no plans at this point.

Will the issue of Justin’s sexuality be addressed next season?
HORTA:
Yeah, we’re going to explore stuff. He’ll be going to high school and getting older, so we’ll definitely be exploring that.

Will Marc find love after Cliff?
HORTA:
We’ve been discussing it. We haven’t started breaking the exact stories for next year, but that’s one of the things we’ve really talked about. We want to see [Marc and Amanda's] love lives.

How would you characterize Ashley Jensen’s departure? Was it mutual?
HORTA:
It was mutual. She’s amazing. From the get-go, we found some really good stories for her, but we never found enough to service her character the way we wanted to and the way she wanted to. She wanted to do more, but it was [difficult] with a large ensemble like this to give her more. I hope in the future she’ll come back. She’s an important part of the show.

Will Christina get a satisfying send-off?
HORTA:
She will. Next week’s episode will [set things in motion] with Wilhelmina’s baby – or her supposed baby – and it’s going to lead to a lot of complications.

Ana Ortiz gives birth in June. Will we see less of Hilda at the start of next season due to her maternity leave?
HORTA:
We may write her a little lighter in the beginning, but we’re not writing her out or anything.

Who is Rachel Dratch playing in the finale?
HORTA:
She’s playing a dual role. She’s playing Penny Meadows, an editor at Mode, and she’s also playing Mindy Meadows, her twin sister. It’s a one-time guest stint, but she was great.

The most asked Ugly Betty question from my readers: When is Betty getting her braces off?
HORTA:
Her braces will be off by the end of next season. Next year, there’s going to be a progression in her look overall. It’ll still be Betty, but you’ll see some growth in that direction.

‘Ugly Betty’ is back with bankruptcy, bunny suits & a baby boy

Ugly Betty” returns tonight and I’d say the episode is pretty close to top form. The only thing missing is a few really solid Wilhelmina/Marc zingers. But the “UB” world will warm up your Thursday night regardless… even if Mode is close to bankruptcy. I mean, Betty’s still with the rich boyfriend, so all’s well on that end. Yep, Daniel and Willy are taking the bus, while Betty’s traveling in style, getting dropped off at work in a limo these days. I mean, she’s still same old Betty with her technicolor dream coats… and belts and stockings and shoes. She’s sort of a sight for sore eyes, actually. And you need not worry about Mode, since B — after seeing one of her friends get fired — will risk her relationship with richy Rich (aka Matt) to save the company. But she isn’t the only one making sacrifices. Daniel will give his own dignity away in exchange for Mode’s financial security. Have you seen the bunny suit?

There’s some good stuff coming as we power towards next month’s season ender… Baby William? Though tonight’s paternity test supposedly states that he is, in fact, Wilhelmina’s kid, that case so ain’t closed. Be prepared to see big Willy returning to her signature scheming ways in the weeks ahead. A Meade Wedding? Yep. Someone with that last name will tie the knot soon. Not Claire. No, Bradford won’t rise from the beyond. And Alexis is still M.I.A. and will remain so. Uh, Daniel! It’s Daniel! Do I have to spell everything out? A Love Rectangle? As you may have already heard, Henry (Chris Gorham) is back in New York, and though he’s got a new girl, his flame for BS hasn’t been extinguished….Source: Zap2It’s Korbi TV

“Yes, someone plummets to their death in the season finale,” executive producer Sylvio Horta confirms. “It will play a big role in the plot.” (Michael Ausiello)

Adele is in the house on May 14 for a Mode photo shoot that magically morphs into a wedding. With time being a factor, Daniel and his ailing bride are getting hitched. (TV Guide)

On tomorrow night’s “Rabbit Test” episode, Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams) finds out that she may not be the biological mother of baby William. For those not keeping up, here’s the deal: Wilhelmina’s egg and publishing king Bradford Meade’s sperm were implanted into surrogate Christina McKinney (the seamstress) to produce the golden child of publishing and help secure the diva’s standing in the company. “That’s what she thought happened,” Vanessa tells us, “but it turns out that it’s not what it appears. And it jeopardizes Wilhelmina’s standing at the company, and her livelihood is at stake. But she is a fighter, and she will continue to hold her ground and stay at the top no matter what threats are made and what consequences happen.” (Watch With Kristin)

More baby drama ensues as little William gets kidnapped in the next episode, “The Born Identity,” on May 7. “That gets resolved rather quickly,” says Vanessa Williams. “It goes in a different direction, and she doesn’t end up being a mommy for long.” (Watch With Kristin)

With her baby problems aside, it’s back to what Wilhelmina knows best: conniving, blackmailing and jockeying for position. “My next blackmail up is Claire Meade,” says Vanessa. “Yes, it’s back to Claire again. I get more dish on her. The angles in which [my character] tries to deceive and connive are hilarious and funny, and the situations that she puts herself into are outside the box. There is a scene where she sings with Christine Baranski’s character [Yes, Christine is back for more eps as Matt's mother...the same Matt who's Betty's boyfriend!] while fishing for information from her.” (Watch With Kristin)

In “In the Stars” on May 14, two wedding proposals are made, but only one is seen to fruition. “Betty and Matt are not the ones walking down the aisle, though Matt is in the finale. And, it’s not Hilda and Archie,” says Vanessa. That, of course leaves Daniel Meade and his cancer-stricken girlfriend, Molly. “That’s right,” she says, “and I can tell you that Adele sings at the wedding.” With rumors swirling that Molly loses her battle to cancer, one can only think that the new bride kicks the bucket after the wedding. “I can’t tell you everything,” says Vanessa. “She does get very sick.” (Watch With Kristin)

Along with Adele, other upcoming guests on these episodes include tennis queen Billie Jean King (who plays tennis with Christine Baranski’s character) and The View’s Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck (who have Daniel Meade on the show in part two of the two-part finale, “Curveball,” on May 21). Christopher Gorham has closed a deal to reprise his role as Betty’s ex-love Henry, setting the stage for a geektastic showdown with her current beau, Matt (Daniel Eric Gold). Ugly Betty creator Silvio Horta confirms to me exclusively that Gorham — who’s currently trying to stay alive on CBS’ Harper’s Island — will reappear in the show’s two-hour season finale on May 21 when Betty runs into Henry and his new girlfriend Chloe (played by Gossip Girl‘s Dream Walker) in the Big Apple. To prove to themselves that they’ve moved on, Betty and Henry agree to go on a double date to a Mets game with their respective significant others. Good times, right? Not exactly… “As Henry and Betty reconnect, it could potentially threaten her relationship with Matt,” teases Horta, who adds that he’s “really happy” to have Gorham back in the fold. “Chris has always been, and will always be, part of the Ugly Betty family.” But how big a part of the family will he be? Meanwhile, Izzie fears the worst when she begins experiencing familiar symptoms. The episode called “What a Difference a Day Makes” airs May 7. Meanwhile, a website has been created for the fictional wedding. Rhimes had the idea of making the website created by Izzie who is the wedding planner. “I said, ‘It should feel like a real wedding Web site,'” said Rhimes. In the latest blog entry, Alex Karev wrote on behalf of Izzie, saying “Izzie’s in surgery right now, but I know she would want me to update this blog of hers and let you know that we have decided on the shrimp for the wedding. Thanks to MY taste buds, of course. Izzie said you all would be clamoring for this info, so… there you have it.”

As Grey’s Marks 100 Episodes, Is an End Date Near?

Source: TV Guide Online

Although ABC’s Lost, which just last week marked its own 100th episode, is zeroing in on a May 2010 series finale, don’t expect Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes to make like “Team Darlton” and handcuff herself to her own finish line. “I have no end story or date in mind at all,” Rhimes tells the Hollywood Reporter. “I just want us to tell stories as long as we feel it’s relevant.” This Thursday, Grey’s Anatomy celebrates the “century” mark with what is intended to be the wedding of longtime lovebirds Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd. The odds of that anticipated union going off without a hitch, however, are slim. Where does Rhimes see her doctors-in-love serial heading? Although she at one time “knew exactly how the show was going to end,” she now finds the personal and professional adventures of Mer, Der, Cristina et al heading  to “a different place than I’d ever expected at the beginning.” “We’re essentially working without a map,” she admits, “and have been for a little while now.” So, fellow Grey’s fans, since the world seems to be our oyster, what would you like to see happen in the halls of Seattle Grace? Who do you want to see together? Who do you want apart? What sort of non-ghost/hallucination stories would you like to see told?

Deceased Denny Re-Appears on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Again

His appearance in the future episode is not addressed further but creator Shonda Rhimes said, “Just a reminder: He’s not a ghost, and we should all remember what his appearance means.” Denny’s re-appearance is somewhat expected for during the 100th episode celebration on the set of “Grey’s Anatomy” there photographed who plays the character Denny. Additionally, on the official synopsis of the 100th episode, it is said that Izzie will experience “familiar symptoms”.

“GA” creator Rhimes spoke with USA Today, confirming the news and adding a warning: “Just a reminder, he’s not a ghost and we should all remember what his appearance means.” Yeah, that the chemo ain’t helping Izzie.

She said, “Just a reminder: He’s not a ghost, and we should all remember what his appearance means.” She however, would not specify which episode she was talking about. Do you have any news on when Cristina and Owen will reunite on Grey’s Anatomy?
Unfortunately not anytime soon. Owen doesn’t have time for Cristina anymore (what with his newfound interest in turning George into a trauma surgeon). Actually, to be more specific, Owen’s therapist doesn’t let Owen have time for her. Yep, Owen’s shrink has given him a specific list of three-word sentences he can say to Yang, but “I love you” is definitely not one of them. Either way, Cristina is not a happy camper.

Please tell me more about Meredith and Derek on Grey’s Anatomy!
Thatcher Grey is not in the hospital because his oldest daughter is getting married. He wants to make amends: He’s been sober, and he’s working on his steps.

How’s Izzie doing on Grey’s Anatomy?
As it turns out, cancer is really, really painful. Sigh. Poor Izz.

Please give us something about Callie and Arizona on Grey’s Anatomy. They have had such little airtime, and we want to know about their relationship. Please tell me there is more to come from this cute, new couple.
Arizona meets Callie’s dad in Thursday’s episode, and he doesn’t take the news of their relationship terribly well. In fact, when Callie’s dad tries to get her to move home and she refuses, he cuts off her trust fund.

Got any more Grey’s Anatomy scoop?
Yes, and it comes from Kellie Martin of ER and Life Goes On fame. Kelly pops up on the small screen in May on both Ghost Whisperer and Grey’s Anatomy. “On Ghost Whisperer, I play a director of a soap opera, and I’m being haunted,” Kellie tells us. “And on Grey’s, all I can say is that I don’t play a patient, and I don’t play a doctor. We have to respect the Grey’s cone of silence. They’re very secretive. It’s not integral to the crazy rumors going around right now, though.”

‘Grey’s Anatomy': Couples scoop, plus more screentime for O’Malley

Source: Zap2It’s Korbi TV

Any scoop on Arizona/Callie? They’re my new favorite couple! When Callie’s father finds out about his daughter’s relationship with another woman, he doesn’t take it well. At all. In fact he cuts her off, both monetarily and emotionally. She’s devastated and considers telling her family that she ended things with Arizona just to get back on their good side.

Will we be seeing more George? I miss him.
We’ll be seeing a lot more George in the next couple episodes. In fact, I’m pretty sure there’s more George screen time in the next two episodes than we’ve had all season. And he’s back to being the O’Malley we used to know: a kick ass surgeon. So that’s cool.

Are Owen and Cristina going to make up any time soon?
Not exactly. Their relationship is in a two-steps-back, one-step-forward type stage. But Owen does tell Cristina — in his own way — just how strongly he feels about her in next Thursday’s ep …right before he puts up another wall.

Do you have any non-relationship or Izzie’s-dying-from-cancer scoop?
In an upcoming episode, Meredith will cross a line with a patient, which could threaten her job at Seattle Grace. Yep, the Chief says he’ll fire her if she doesn’t stay away from this particular case.
Just how long are Mark and Derek going to be fighting? Not forever. But things do get bad enough between them that Derek tells Meredith that he wants Richard to be his best man. Of course that goes over real well. I mean, what girl doesn’t want the dude that had an affair with her mother standing next to her husband-to-be on her wedding day? Meredith actually tells Derek that if he invites Richard, she won’t walk down the aisle.

So how insane is Izzie going to get with planning the MerDer wedding?
Really insane. Remember a couple seasons back when Izzie decorated Meredith’s house with Christmas stuff to get her mind off Alex’s infidelity? Yeah, well this time she’s dealing with cancer. And she will use her illness to get a lot of the things she wants/needs. It’s working for her. I mean, she guilts Mer into trying on a lot of wedding dresses. Plus, she fools several people into thinking she’s sicker than she is, so they’ll come to her.

[Via Twitter, Ausiello reveals that] Izzie did [something funny] to Cristina.

Question: Please tell me there’s some good stuff for the amazingly talented Sandra Oh and Kevin McKidd in the next two episodes of Greys.
Ausiello:
This Thursday’s ep? Not so much. Next Thursday’s ep? Hell yes!

Ausiello:
These next two episodes are as solid as any I’ve seen this season. Most of my favorite moments involved Katherine Heigl, who as I Tweeted earlier today, is doing her best work since season 2.

Question: Give me some good Alex-Izzie scoop!
Ausiello:
Izzie’s trashtastic mother (played by Sharon Lawrence) makes a memorable entrance on 4/30. (Hint: It involves a case of mistaken identity with her potential son-in-law).

Question: Izzie! Grey’s! Scoop!
Ausiello:
She’s cancer free by the second ep… or so someone close to her is led to believe.

Question: Any scoop on my favorite Grey’s character, Lexie?
Ausiello:
Shonda Rhimes found a fun way to work in Chyler Leigh’s sudden plus-sizedness (the actress is pregnant in real life) — and it involves the feud between Mark and Derek.

Question: Please bless me with some Mark and Lexie scoop! Are these two getting some screen time in the episodes leading up to the finale?
Ausiello:
There’s some kissing, hand holding, and a dinner date with dad. (In other words, yes!)

Question: Any good T.R. Knight stuff coming up? -
Ausiello:
George and Alex have a huge blowup over Izzie. And before the scene ends, glass is shattered, blood is shed, and someone suffers a near-fatal fall.

Question: Please, can you give us something juicy on the best couple, Meredith and Derek?
Ausiello:
Okay, here’s something: A longtime Grey’s duo are about to break up — presumably for good — and it’s not Derek and Meredith. Nope. It’s Bailey and Tucker! In the May 14 season finale, Bailey takes the bold step of leaving her husband after he once again fails to support her career.

Question: Can you tell us how much time has lapsed between the elevator proposal episode of Grey’s and the episode that airs this week?
Ausiello:
A few days, I believe. It’s not long at all.

Question: Any scoop on the anticipated Thatcher return on Grey’s next week? I’m hoping for some overdue Meredith and Lexie scenes!
Ausiello:
Two of my favorite Mer-Lexie scenes ever take place in next week’s episode, but it’s more a result of the thorny Derek-Mark situation than Thatcher’s return.

Question: Any insight on what is going to happen with Mer-Der now that Ellen Pompeo is preggers in real life?
Ausiello:
If you’re asking me whether there’s a McBaby in their future, I don’t know. I can tell you that if Pompeo takes the standard two-month maternity leave following the birth of her first child this fall, Grey’s could be Mer-less for a portion of next season. Maybe they’ll send her to some really long medical convention. Or dispatch her to the parking lot to look for Dr. Hahn. The possibilities are endless!

Question: Will Jeffrey Dean Morgan be appearing in Grey’s Anatomy’s 100th episode?
Ausiello:
Let’s examine the evidence, shall we? Exhibit A: Morgan appeared in the 100th ep photo-op, which took place on the Grey’s set during filming of the said 100th episode. Exhibit B: The official logline for the landmark ep says, “Izzie fears the worst when she begins experiencing familiar symptoms.” Exhibit C: I have to warn you that this one’s really spoilery, but I’m hearing … wait, what’s that? The jury of Ausholes has already reached a unanimous verdict? Eh, so much for my Exhibit C. It was really good, too.
