More Chuck Spoilers!

At Thursday’s NBC Fall Premiere Party, Ryan McPartlin (Awesome) told Kristin at E!Online that the return of Morgan Fairchild as his mother puts a damper on their wedding plans. And his best-man pick? “I think it would have to be Chuck. It can’t be Morgan. I’m going to make him the ring bearer!”

But what Ryan is really hoping for this season is a Captain Awesome crossover into Chuck’s world of espionage. “It would be very cool if I get deep into it and he’s got to get my back and save me somehow, but I take all the credit!”

Some of new 90210 Exec Prod. Rebecca Kirshner Best Gilmore Girls Episodes!

Gilmore Girls‘ Rebecca Kirshner is joining 90210 as an executive producer and she will also be writing episodes.

Here are some of the more memorable Gilmore installments Kirshner was responsible for according to Mike Ausiello:
* “Hay Bale Maze” (Arguably one of the show’s most touching and unusual scripts.)
* “I’d Rather Be in Philadelphia” (Richard is hospitalized.)
* “Santa’s Secret Stuff” (Lorelai writes a character recommendation for Luke’s custody case and realizes how important he has been in her and Rory’s life.)
* “That’s What You Get. Folks, For Makin’ Whoopee” (Lorelai turns her house into an Asian-themed wonderland to cheer Rory up; Luke and Lorelai have a fight in the town square.)
* “Bridesmaids Revisited” (Rory finds out Logan slept with all the bridesmaids in his sister’s wedding party.)

New Smallville November Sweeps Spoilers!

The Blockbuster November sweeps two-parter (episodes 10 and 11): Following Chloe’s wedding to Jimmy, Brainiac slowly starts taking over Chloe’s body. By episode 11, he has taken complete possession of her. And that, my friends, is just the tip of the iceberg. — Ausiello Files

New Supernatural Spoilers & Casting!

In episode 5, Dean punches Sam not once, but twice. And not by accident!

The show is casting two new recurring roles: one’s a pretty ass-kicker who hears voices and seems likely to become a love interest for one of the Winchester boys, the other’s a he-demon whose serene demeanor belies a mile-wide sadistic streak. He’s a little less likely to become a love interest for one of the Winchester boys. Just a hunch.

New Pushing Daisies Spoilers!

Ned, Chuck and Emerson will — shades of Seinfeld — meet their Bizarro World selves. How bizarre will alterna-Ned and Co. be? Pretty damn — they’re all Norwegian. — Ausiello Files

Chuck’s dad will most definitely be coming back into the picture, via the touch of one very special man who did him in in the first place.

Look for Autumn Reeser to pop up in the premiere, along with Missi Pyle and French Stewart, who make the bee business look downright diabolical. — Kristin at E!Online

New Private Practice Scoop! Spoilers!

Audra McDonald told Kristin at E!Online that she and Taye Diggs have actually been taking Pilates classes prepping for all the, um, twists this season. “There’s a lot of sex this season, a lot for everybody, there’s a lot of bed hopping on Private Practice right now,” she told me at Les Deux on Saturday night. Does that mean we’ll be seeing more love with Chris Lowell? “The triangle is alive.” Hooray for cougardom!

Also in the second episode Dell quits his job at the wellness center, but don’t worry Chris Lowell is by no means leaving the show!

Ugly Betty Spoilers! Premiere Thursday!

Bettys moving on up…to a deeeluxe apartment in the ska-hyee! She’ll get a new job at Mode working for Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams)—what?—and I think Marc is going to have something to say about this. — Kristin at E!Online

According to Mike Ausiello “the show’s first two episodes don’t suck. Far from it, in fact. After last May’s disappointing finale, and news of further behind-the-scenes changes, I feared the worst was yet to come for Betty. But I’m relieved to report that tomorrow’s season premiere, and next week’s second episode, are home runs. My favorite moments: Betty’s initial run-in with new love interest Val Emmich (click here for America Ferrera’s take on Betty’s new beau); Amanda and Marc’s reaction upon meeting Eddie Cibrian for the first time; every word that comes out of Ana Ortiz’s comically-blessed mouth; and the look on Betty’s face as she attempts to inject botox into Wilhelmina’s face. I should also point out that by the end of the next week’s eppy, the fate of a pivotal character hangs in the balance.”

The CW Picks Up ‘90210,’ Adds ‘Gilmore’ Vet!

90210gilmoregirls_l

Mike Ausiello believes the bigger news about 90210 full season pick-up was the announcement of the new show runner, who has strong Gilmore Girls ties:

“In the final sentence of the bulletin, the network quietly mentions that veteran Gilmore Girls scribe Rebecca Kirshner is joining the series as an executive producer.

And it gets better.

After I did some digging, a 90210 source confirms to me exclusively that Amy Sherman-Palladino’s longtime collaborator will not just be sitting in the show’s writers room, she’ll be running it. (And yes, contrary to speculation, the show does have one of those.) Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah, meanwhile, will continue to serve as show’s day-to-day showrunners.”

More Desperate Housewives Scoop and Spoilers

Dana Delaney told Kristin at E!Online “that the love-hate relationship between herself and Bree stands strong—but that for now, the dynamic is definitely more the latter! As for the terrifying new neighbor on Wisteria Lane? Apparently, Katherine doesn’t seem to mind that Edie’s new hubby, Dave Williams (Neal McDonough), is married or that he might be a sociopath. In fact, she develops a little crush on Mr. Edie Britt.”

New Gossip Girl Spoilers!

There is huge stuff in the works for Jenny Humphrey. She’s going to do something to shock the hell out of Daddy Dearest in the hopes that it will make her young, rich and famous, but it doesn’t work out exactly as she’d planned. And yes, it involves Eleanor and fashion, por supuesto. – Kristin at E!Online

New Spoilers From the Grey’s Anatomy Thursday Season Premiere!

Where things are left off with Alex and Izzie at the end of the season premiere are not indicative as to what lies ahead this season.

Also, one of the docs gets stabbed; according to Ausiello’s multiple choice this seems to be Rose stabbing Derek, because apparently she’s bye-bye forever after this episode.  And you will see why in the season premiere—she has a weird Dexter-like moment.

Sandra Oh rants at Meredith with something some of you fans have been wanting to say for a while now: “Shut up about Derek!” It is an awesome scene. Look for it.

Supposedly the interaction between “Major Hottie” (Kevin McKidd) and Cristina is amazing. He plays a no-BS Army doctor who is so raw and tough and dirty…. – From Kristin at E!Online

Episode Recap: “The Second Coming” and “The Butterfly Effect”

It’s been a long 10 months since the writers’ strike abruptly (or mercifully, depending on who you ask) truncated Season 2 of Heroes. As such, the buzz around the show’s “villainous” two-hour return has been building for months. Who shot Nathan? What would Sylar be up to now that he’s “back”? Would Mohinder be able to help Maya? What will become of Adam Monroe who we last saw trapped in a coffin six feet under, courtesy of Hiro? Those were the burning questions facing us as the episode began, so let’s dig in. (But before we get too deep, check out this handy refresher just in case you’re a little fuzzy on any of last season’s cliff-hangers.)… READ FULL RECAP

Cristine Rose as Angela Petrelli on Heroes by Chris Haston/NBC

From TV Guide

This post contains spoilers from the season premiere of Heroes.

Monday’s two-hour season premiere of Heroes ended with a super twist: The Petrelli boys have a new brother, and it’s none other than power-robbing supervillain Sylar.

The shocking revelation was made by Cristine Rose‘s Angela Petrelli in the premiere’s closing moments. In a recent interview with our own Matt Mitovich, Rose revealed that another shocking shoe will drop in Episode 3. “It really has a double punch,” she said. “The revelation that he’s my son is just the beginning.”

Rose said her scene with Sylar was originally planned for Episode 13 of Season 2, when she was only meant to be his mentor. “They wouldn’t tell me until I actually read it, but they had been hinting at this big surprise,” she said. “In the interim they added the fact that he was indeed my son, and we reshot parts of it.”

So should we expect Sylar to pick out flowers and Mother’s Day cards soon? Don’t hold your breath. “That’s really not why I need him or want him,” Rose said. “In the last two seasons, I dealt with whether I loved my children or whether I bore them out of a need for power and used them as weapons. I think of Sylar as my weapon of mass destruction. Eventually anyway.”

What did you think of the twist? Do you think Sylar is actually Arthur Petrelli’s son or is there another piece to this puzzle? Share your thoughts below and check back next week for answers to that question in Mitovich’s full Q&A! — Adam Bryant
