Major Ghost Whisperer Spoilers: “Threshold” How Jim Dies…. but lives on…

Latest Updates: Ghost Whisperer Spoilers: Jim’s Alive? & Previews: “Heart & Soul” & “Threshold”

UPDATE: It’s not an either or scenario that Jim will go into the light or stay on as a ghost! READ MORE: Major Ghost Whisperer Spoilers: Jim’s Fate! & Interview with David Conrad!

I was able to view some pages of the “Threshold” script, where Jim TRULY DIES.
Read ahead if you want to know more how Jim died, and who was involved in his death and how this is not the last of Jim, he will appear into February sweeps at least….

Jim is at Mercy Hospital, a man’s heart stopped beating, and a code blue team is trying to resuscitate him.  Even while they are working to save him, Jim sees his spirit getting up from his body and moving towards the light, which is the hospital wall. After the man is declared dead, Jim goes to the body, he tries to touch him, but his hand goes through.

The episode however, centers on a 17-year-old girl, Caitlin Mahoney, who from what it appears was a patient Jim was trying to save. Caitlin appears to Melinda and says she believes she was responsible for Jim’s death. Caitlin also died, and is the ghost Melinda crosses over in the episode. The episode’s theme is the true meaning of love and what it feels like to be truly loved.

As Caitlin first approaches Melinda, she asks if Jim is around.

Here’s an excerpt of their exchange:

Melinda: My husband. Jim. No, he’s not here.

Caitlin: He doesn’t want me to talk to you. He hates me.

Melinda: No he doesn’t. He just doesn’t understand you. Neither do I.

Caitlin: I remember things now….

Melinda, however is upset and doesn’t really want to get involved now to help Caitlin’s ghost. She’s far too emotional. Melinda starts to leave, but turns around asking if it is about Jim. Caitlin tells Melinda she hurt her step-dad, because she died. Melinda tells her she is a “mess” now and can’t help herself or Caitlin now.  Melinda tries to convince her to go into the light and not feel guilty, but then she tells Melinda:

Caitlin: Everything that’s happened…everything, it’s all my fault. It’s because of what I did.

Melinda: What did you?

Caitlin:  I think I helped kill your husband.

This enrages Melinda; she “lunges” towards the ghost, but it disappears.

The next scene I was able to read was the scene near the end of the episode where Melinda gets Caitlin and her step-father Neely together. Caitlin tries to explain through Melinda, her problem with anorexia. Caitlin was trying to make herself thin and starving herself, because she thought it would make her more loved.  As a ghost, she realizes how much her death has hurt her stepfather, Detective Neely (the one who shot Jim), who loved her unconditionally. Neely feels he should have noticed and tried to help Caitlin, but Caitlin explains that would have been impossible because she avoided him, so he shouldn’t see how she was loosing the weight.

Caitlin believes because Neely was so upset about her death that he was not he usual self and was distracted and that’s why he made a mistake and shot Jim instead of Hunter at the cabin.

Melinda to Neely: She (believes) what happened that day with you and Jim…was her fault because you were upset….

Cailtin realizes her stepfather father loved unconditionally, but she took it for “granted.” Jim is with Melinda, Neely and Caitlin. Melinda speaks about being loved to them and especially to Jim convincing him to move on saying “once you know that kind of love, it never goes away. It only gets stronger. It means she can move on… and so can you.”

Caitlin apologizes to Neely, who responds that he loved her, and Jim relays through Melinda that he “doesn’t blame” Caitlin.  With this Caitlin sees the light and moves towards it, but before she asks Jim, “You coming?” Jim replies, “not just yet.”

Jim decides to remain with Melinda. Apparently from the “Heart & Soul” episode, there is an amnesiac who named Sam Lucas played by (Kevin Mitchell), that Jim inhabits. This will last for a number of episodes, because in a summary for episode 4.13: “Body Of Water” it says: “When Nikki pays a prolonged visit, Melinda fears that Sam will never reconnect with his true nature. Meanwhile, Melinda discovers a mysterious and vengeful contingent of ghosts at a local lake, where a financially distressed mortician had been secretly dumping bodies scheduled for cremation.”

Supernatural Episode 4.7 Recap: “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester”

Jensen AcklesTonight’s episode of Supernatural is a special Halloween-themed extravaganza.  Thankfully, it’s more of a treat than a trick…..
A man pops a piece of candy into his mouth, and a moment later he’s coughing up razor blades.  That, my friends, is some nasty stuff.  It almost makes me afraid to eat candy, which I didn’t think was possible.

Sam and Dean arrive the next day to talk to the man’s wife, Mrs. Wallace.  Dean discovers a hex bag stuffed behind the refrigerator, which makes it obvious that the dead man may have had some enemies.  Sam checks out the contents of the bag and figures out that it must have been put together by a pretty powerful witch.  The only strange thing is that the dead man seemed far too vanilla to ruffle any feathers, so whoever killed him probably had a different motive….READ FULL RECAP AT BUDDY TV

Ugly Betty Spoilers: Crush’d

Passing the Henry and Gio era, Betty will get a new love interest in the next episode of ““. Betty starts a new chapter of her life, living together with Amanda who proves to be a tough one, and flirting with her singer neighbor, Jesse (guest starring ).

Wanting to grasp the attention of Jesse, Betty decides to work overtime. Meanwhile, Amanda becomes Betty’s roommate when the former finds herself in financial instability, and Cliff proposes that he and Marc move in together.

Some possible spoilers to the episode which will be called “Crush’d” and aired November 6, have been let out, pointing that there may be a proposal which most possibly is made between Marc and Cliff. Also, when Betty finds a shocking truth while trying to get into Jesse’s place, it will be Betty catching Jesse with Amanda.

On taking the role as Jesse after Henry and Gio, Emmich shares to AceShowbiz that “It’s a daunting task and in some ways winless, because those two characters were really loved.” He adds, “I don’t look forward to the backlash, but hopefully I can win some people over.” Look forward for our complete interview with the rising singer tomorrow, Saturday, November 1. — Ace Showbiz

Ugly Betty – Mode After Hours #6

Ugly Betty Episode Recap: “Ugly Berry”

Lindsay Now that Kimmie has reverted to her old, snotty ways, Betty’s good-natured character and business ethics are put to the test on Ugly Betty. Luckily she has a couple angels (Daniel and Jesse) on her shoulder to counteract the suavely thin demons (MarcManda) urging her to act against her better judgment.

Kimmie is being all kinds of bitchy, lording her associate editorship over Betty, demanding lunch and other demeaning things. But Betty’s not about to let Kimmie get all the glory for pitching an idea for Mode‘s upcoming “Sizzling Hot” issue, so Betty stumbles upon her own brilliant idea.

Challenged to think of a “hot” fruit to feature, Betty learns that the super-hot Adriana Lima is a huge fan of the super-rare fruit the tiko berry, which frankly just looks like rambutan to me. Anyhow, Betty scores a major coup with Adriana agreeing to do the cover and a feature about said fruit for Mode, and thus earns our girl the job of project manager. Smoke that, Kimmie…..

Ghost Whisperer Spoilers: More Photos-Screencaps Jim’s Death / as a Ghost from “Threshold” & “Heart and Soul” Episodes

Update: I was able to view some pages of the “Threshold” script, where Jim TRULY DIES. If you want to know more how Jim died, and who was involved in his death and how this IS not the last of Jim, he will appear into February sweeps at least…. READ ON FOR MAJOR SPOILERS

Here are some more screencaps/photos from “Threshold,” the episode where supposedly Jim dies, and the next episode “Heart and Soul.”

The majority of the photos feature Melinda and Jim, and Melinda is dressed in black as if she is in mourning or coming from a funeral.

There are some more theories floating around, some say Jim does not want to pass into the light, but rather wants to stay as a ghost with Melinda. More optimistic opinions believe Jim is in a coma or having an out body experience, where his soul was pushed from his body, and instead, Jim will inhabit Sam’s body.

Another theory floating around is that Melinda will actually find out she is pregnant in Episode 9 “Pieces of You.”

For now, check out the photos and previous posts!

Supernatural Spoilers: Robert Wisdom’s One Devil of an Angel

Supernatural Preview: Robert Wisdom’s One Devil of an Angel

A witch. Halloween. The possible unleashing of Satan. Sounds like a case for the Winchester boys and their winged wingman. Tonight on Supernatural (9 pm/ET, the CW), even Castiel agrees that heavy artillery is called for. Cue guest-star Robert Wisdom, as an angel with ‘tude. The former Wire star shared a look at this hellish holiday outing. Plus: His take on “the greatest show that’s ever been on American television.” I’m guessing — purely guessing —  that this is the first angel you’ve played.
Robert Wisdom:
[Laughs] Well, there aren’t too many I’ve been offered, but this is the first one, yeah. What brings Uriel to the world of Supernatural? Is he there to ostensibly save Halloween?
Yes, that’s my job, and it’s a big one. It’s a real sweet role. They’ve written some really powerful stuff. I like the show. I’m thinking he doesn’t get a big ol’ hug from Castiel?
No, we are kind of a mix between characters from the Addams Family realm and The Odd Couple. [Laughs] We like each other but we aren’t real close. They have different approaches to the job, I understand.
Uriel basically uses power to get the job done. If that means smiting a whole city, he has to do it. Misha Collins told me that Uriei is a bit “trigger-happy.”
I wouldn’t say trigger-happy, but he’s “eager” to carry out God’s will. So, he’s closer to Prison Break‘s Lechero than The Wire‘s Bunny.
Oh, by far. By far. [Laughs] How did you like working with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki?
They’re both great guys, and they’re funny as all get out. Jared is a cut-up, and Jensen is a real fine man. In this episode, we have quite a bit of work together. Is the door left open for your character to return … or not so much?
Angels can always come and go. It’s a permeable wall between our worlds, so there’s a possibility he could show up again.

Pushing Daisies Episode Recap

Ned is generally a rather risk-averse guy, as you might be if you had killed your sweetheart’s father after reviving your dead mother and then lost the chocolates she made for you before her death in a boarding-school roulette game. In fact, the only things he’s gambled on since then have been opening a pie shop “in a time when carbohydrates had fallen out of fashion” and on the hope that Chuck could love him. Which really are a couple of pretty big things. Nonetheless, having won those two hands, he generally prefers a safe bet.

This week’s case, though, involves a rather unsafe bet. It seems the brilliant chef at the dim sum restaurant below Emerson’s office — his name is Bao — has died in a steamer explosion that the cops deem an accident but which his widow is sure was murder. The deceased, who has a pipe through his head, isn’t much help after being revivified, panicking that someone wants to kill him over a bet….Continue reading »

The Drive to Save Pushing Daisies from Cancellation!

Kristin has a list of ways to get involved and help save Pushing Daisies from being canceled.

Pushing Daisies Is in Danger! Can It Be Saved?

Pushing Daisies, Anna Friel, Lee Pace

The facts are these:

Pushing Daisies needs your help.

Production on episode 13 of season two begins Monday, and that is the last episode currently ordered by ABC for this series. So far the Alphabet network has given no indication to producers that a full-season pickup is coming.

Pushing Daisies, Chi McBride

So what can we, the fans, do to show our support and convince the powers that be at ABC to keep Daisies on the air?

  • SIGN UP: Sign the Save Daises online petition.
  • TUNE IN: Tonight, watch the show. Live. In your house. Look for the glowing box that receives pictures via bunny ears, a satellite or a coaxial cable coming out of the wall. (Everything else on TV at that time? Obama, Obama and then more Obama. So there’s no downside for you—you won’t miss any other show—and the upside is that the show’s prospects might perk up!) For that matter, email five of your friends right now and tell them to watch, especially if you happen to know anyone who has one of those magical Nielsen boxes.
  • TURN ON: Go to and play old episodes. If you have some spare change, download a few from iTunes. If Daisies brings in enough digital dime, that revenue might offset the on-air losses.
  • REACH OUT: Contact ABC online or use the quaint ol’ post office to send a letter explaining, in your own passionate but polite words, why and how Daisies is the birdhouse in your soul. The address for ABC is 500 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank, CA 91521-4551.
  • PUSH THOSE DAISIES: There are 23,000 species in the daisy family of flowers, including marigolds, coneflowers, sunflowers, chamomile, chrysanthemums, dahlias and zinnias. Send a bunch of your faves to ABC, or better yet, send flower seeds. They’re light and therefore cheap to ship. Seeds last for years and won’t go bad or go to waste, and they could be planted to grow into something beautiful in the spring. Don’t forget to include a note explaining that this is for the love of Daisies!

‘Privileged’ Spoilers: Megan’s MIA Mom is Sharon Lawrence!

‘Privileged’ Scoop: Megan’s MIA Mom is Sharon Lawrence!

Oct 29, 2008, 01:12 PM | by Michael Ausiello

Michael Ausiello reports that Privileged has cast NYPD Blue alum Sharon Lawrence in the pivotal role of Shelby, deadbeat mom to Megan (Joanna Garcia) and Lily (Kristina Apgar). Brash and larger-than-life, Ma resurfaces 15 years after leaving her kids to fulfill her own destiny.

Lawrence is committed to appearing in two episodes (the first of which airs in January), but that number could climb provided The CW does the right thing and orders this underappreciated show’s back nine.
