Greek Episide Recap: The Popular Vote

While the rest of the country is gearing up for a huge presidential election, some of the characters on ABC Family’s Greek are more concerned about a more localized election. Of course I’m referring to the race for the ZBZ presidency. Frannie and Casey are all set to go head to head but based on Ashleigh’s frequent polls, it’s too close to call and a lot of it hinges on where Rebecca’s loyalty lies. read more

Heros Spoilers: Arthur Petrelli hits the scene

From Kristin at E!Online

NBC Photo / Mitchell Haaseth

Zachary Quinto, Milo Ventimiglia, Adrian Pasdar

Yep, Arthur Petrelli (Robert Forster) made his first onscreen appearance on Monday’s episode of Heroes. We’ve heard a lot about him these past two years, but we’re finally meeting the big man.

Only I can tell you the exclusive details about who he is and what Arthur’s return means for his three sons. I’m pretty sure they will not be pleased to (re)make his acquaintance…

Robert Forster Glenn Weiner/ZUMA Press

Tonight’s World Premiere: Arthur’s first appearance onscreen is a bit of a tease—think of it as the Arthur Petrelli preshow—because Arthur first reconnects with a woman from his past (OK, it’s Angela, his wife) in a dream state, not in person. But dream state or not, Mr. and Mrs. Petrelli are both distinctly unhappy to see each other again.

The Kids Always Get Stuck in the Middle: Angela and Arthur’s three sons are all going to be pawns in their parents’ big game, which plays out over the remainder of this volume. The question becomes: Are the sons powerful enough to withstand the influence of their parents? I expect we’ll hardly be able to tell who is on whose side, because from what I’ve heard, the betrayals and doublecrosses come fast and furious. Milo Ventimiglia tells me, “I think no matter what, as long as Peter and Nathan stick tight, then they’ll be fine.” But…where does that leave Sylar/Gabriel? Out in the brotherly cold? Making waffles for…no one?

Mama Bear: Someone should really warn Arthur now: Angela Petrelli does not like it when you go after her kids. Mess with them and she will take you down.

He Got the Power: Yes, Daddy Dearest has some mojo of his own, and we’ll see him use his abilities as early as next week.

One Tree Hil Spoilers & ‘Messin’ With the Kid’ Preview

There is news going around that all the cast of One Tree Hill have renewed their contracts for one more season except Chad Michael Murray: Well, if it’s true, it looks like the producers are doing everything in their power to get him to stay — including giving him some behind-the-scenes pull. Not only is he directing an episode to air in the spring, but he wrote the episode currently in production — an homage to films of the ’40s. — Ausiello Files

Gossip Girl Spoilers & ‘Chuck In Real Life’ Preview

Jessica Szohr let it slip to TVGuide.com that “there’s a funeral” coming up, and girlfriend wasn’t kidding. My Gossip mole confirms that a major character will be whacked during November sweeps. The victim will be kinda-sorta ID’d in the new EW, on sale Friday. — Ausiello Files

10/20 All New ‘Chuck In Real Life’

Gossip Girl

Vanessa uses the scandalous picture of Catherine and Marcus to blackmail Blair into being a nicer person, so Blair seeks revenge by enticing Chuck to seduce Vanessa. Lily and Bart throw an extravagant housewarming party and expect their children to make them proud in front of the attending press, but a rebellious Serena isn’t ready to play by their rules. Meanwhile, Dan and Jenny discover a big secret that Nate has been keeping from his friends.

From Ace Showbiz: A new longer promo shows more of the scenes where Chuck seduces Vanessa to help Blair’s evil scheme. After Vanessa threatens to use a picture of Catherine and Marcus to blackmail Blair into being nicer, Blair decides to get a revenge through the help of Chuck.

Blair’s order is simple, “seduce and destroy” and Vanessa appears to really fall for Chuck, considering that she “was wrong about him”, but Chuck wants to “raise the stakes” with Blair. Jessica Szohr who portrays Vanessa commented on the episode, saying “There’s some flirtation with Chuck Bass coming up – but I think she still misses someone else.”

Meanwhile, Lily and Bart throw a housewarming party, but Serena is feeling rebellious. Dan and Jenny, meanwhile, discover a secret that Nate has been keeping from his friends.

90210 Spoilers! Casting Scooplet

Shannen Doherty is booked for this season’s 11th and 12th episodes.

Supernatural Spoilers!

There has been much debate among Supernatural fans over whether or not Sam and Ruby are sleeping together. Any chance you could clear this up for us? Ausiello: I can’t, but maybe exec producer Eric Kripke can. Let’s ask him, shall we? Eric, are Sam and Ruby doing the deed? “No comment.” Curses, foiled again! (BTW, check out this week’s episode of Ausiello TV for an exclusive first look at the cheeky trailer for tomorrow’s black and white episode!) — Ausiello Files

Look for an upcoming two-episode arc where we’ll meet Anna (Julie McNiven). I’m told that Anna is “a haunted girl who, for mysterious reasons, is able to hear the secret conversations of angels in her head. Demons want to capture her at all costs for the enemy intel she can provide,” and the boys have to protect her. — Kristin at E!Online

Desperate Housewives Spoilers!

Though Dana Delany teased that Katherine Mayfair did, in fact, have a crush on Dave Williams (Neal McDonough), she also said, “I think we’re on episode eight now, and Katherine has a new love interest.” Her hot new lover is someone we already know. — Kristin at E!Online

Andrea Bowen‘s set to return with Steven Weber in tow. “He’s playing a professor whose relationship with Andrea is a little closer than Susan would like,” said Marc Cherry. Andrea herself added: “Everyone is used to sweet, 17-year-old Julie, and this is a much different 24-year-old girl than you are used to. She definitely has much more grown-up and sultry storylines now.”  — Kristin at E!Online

According to Michael Ausiello is possible that Dave Williams is either:

Well, Neal McDonough’s equally creepy Dave Williams wouldn’t happen to be Roger Bart’s creep character George Williams’ brother, would he? If so, maybe the one he’s out to get is Bree! Ausiello: Interesting theory. Very interesting theory.

My prediction is that Edie’s new husband (played Neal McDonough) on Housewives is the widower of the woman and child that Susan killed in the car accident, which means he’s there to get revenge on Susan. Am I close? Ausiello: Interesting theory. Very interesting theory.

Desperate Housewives: Wisteria Lane Will Face Yet Another Tragedy

From BuddyTV

Last season, fans of Desperate Housewives saw the destruction of Wisteria Lane when a tornado ripped through the neighborhood, severely damaged houses and ultimately changed the lives of everyone.  According to series creator Marc Cherry, however, another catastrophe will eventually strike the fictional town of Fairview, and it’s something far more serious than what the housewives already experienced before.

To find out more about it, read on for spoilers. Final Warning: Spoilers ahead!!!
Last Sunday, Desperate Housewives introduced Wisteria Lane’s newest garage band, created by Dave Williams (Neal McDonough) in order to get friendly with the other guys.  Cherry hints that the band will play a pivotal role in huge fire disaster in Fairview coming this November, and unfortunately, some of the residents may not survive the tragedy.
“We have a huge episode that we just started shooting where all my regulars go to see a garage band from the neighborhood play in a nightclub,” Cherry told E! online.  “The nightclub gets set on fire. It’s connected to the mystery, and it’s going to be a huge episode.”

“It’s one of the biggest special-effects episodes we’ve ever done, actually more difficult than the tornado,” Cherry added.

When asked who might possibly get killed in this mishap, cast member Dana Delany, who plays Katherine Mayfair, remains tight-lipped but hints that there is a possibility that a one of each gender will end up with a horrible fate.

“It’s Wisteria Lane, everyone’s lives are always in danger,” Delany said.  “We end the episode with someone not making it out of the fire.  The script keeps changing, so I’m not quite sure where it stands now.”

Brothers & Sisters New Spoilers!

Anyway, a reliable source over at B&S assures me that Justin and Rebecca are still going strong through the end of the season. Meanwhile, I’ve got some more deets about Saul’s new love interest. He’s going to be a real keeper — handsome, classy and down-to-earth. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like Saul’s going to keep him: The newb’s arc is only expected to last three episodes. — Ausiello Files

Sad to say, the fight with Tommy continues for a few more episodes. I think when you screw your whole family out of jobs and take over the company, you’re going to be in the doghouse for a while. — Kristin at E!Online

Ugly Betty Spoilers & Scoop! & “Betty Suarez Land” Preview

Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Couples Scoop!

According to Michael Ausiello’s Grey’s snitch, when Melissa George debuts as Seattle Grace’s latest bisexual intern on Nov 6., we’ll learn that she has a history with — holy lipstick lesbians! — Meredith. Needless to say, Derek is very anxious to find out the exact nature of their history, and whether or not it can be repeated. In front of him. Repeatedly.

Next Thursday’s episode will definitely feature a big Alex-Izzie smooch.  — Ausiello Files

Grey’s Anatomy: A Romance For Mark and Lexie?

FromBuddy TV:
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Lexie is completely in love with George on Grey’s Anatomy – that is, unless you’re George. He’s so preoccupied with his own issues, both personal and professional, that he doesn’t even realize his new friend has some serious feelings for him. Dr. Sloane has noticed and doesn’t pass up an opportunity to take a dig at Lexie and call her “pathetic” for ignoring her work responsibilities in order to help George whenever she can. However, her photographic memory and superior research skills cause Mark to take a second look at her and it looks like these two may become friends. It seems, though, that there was even (dare I say) a spark? This hint at a romance between Mark and Lexie have caused BuddyTV to protest and this is one bandwagon I’m happy to jump on.

First, let’s point out the obvious – the age difference. “Mark could be Lexie’s dad. Way too creepy,” BuddyTV reader ShellyK said. “She looks too young for him. I like her with George a lot. I still like Gizzie more though.” Just when you thought the Gizzie fans were long gone, they reappear, including reader AubreyT who said: “George and Lexie are so cute. I would love a George, Izzie and Lexie triangle. I love Gizzie more though.”

Then, there’s ridiculous plotline of best friends Derek and Mark dating the Gray sisters. That’s one storyline reader AnaMartinez45 can’t stomach. “Just the idea of Mark and Lexie makes me laugh,” she wrote. “Derek and Mark dating sisters? I can imagine this being Mark’s twisted fantasy but not sure how this would play out for Meredith. “ Undoubtedly, Meredith would be unhappy should Lexie choose to date anyone in her circle at Seattle Grace.

Though it seems that McSteamy could have sexual chemistry with a toaster oven, I still have a hard time picturing him with little, innocent Lexie Gray.  George seems way more her speed and by that, I mean slow goin’.  I never liked her with Alex last season and we’re starting to run out of male doctors for her to sleep with.  Do us a favor, Shonda.  Keep Mark and Lexie’s relationship strictly professional and let her continue to pine away for Dr. O’Malley.  Gizzie is dead and gone and Gexie is the worst couple name.  Perhaps Lexie is destined to stay a single woman for the time being.

What do you think? Personally I would like a Lexie/Mark pairing, Mark is really not that old, his character is probably near 40 maybe less, and Lexie has to at least be 26-27 as an intern. I think her sweetness could tame him, and their banter is just priceless.  I do think they should play out more, before they hop into bed, an emotional connection might change Mark for the better. Unlike Buddy TV I would approve of the pairing do you? Let me know in the comments section.

Samantha Who? Season 2 Spoilers

Barry Watson dished that we’ll be seeing a lot more of bad Sam (Christina Applegate): “It’s usually always stuff with her and Jennifer Esposito. She’s got some Bad Sam stuff that really takes over a whole episode.” On whether or not Todd and Sam will live happily ever after, it’s not looking too bright in the coming future: “She’s been dating a bit and meeting new people, and in the next couple of episodes we’re shooting, Todd’s going to have a couple of girls that he’ll be dating.” Also, Todd’s finally going to have a friend this season named Seth. — Kristin at E!Online

Heros Spoilers & Scoop! Plus Daphne Interview & Elle Returns

The Company is going to have some competition. Ever wonder whom the Speedster (Brea Grant) is working for? The rival company, Pinehearst, will be offering a few of our Heroes new jobs, and two of the Heroes’ dads run the show at Pinehearst….

Claire teams up with her surrogate mom (Sandra Bennet) to save her biological mom (Meredith Gordon) in an upcoming episode. Also, we learn that Meredith’s flame-on capability is very, very genetic—as in, she shares it with someone she’s related to. — Kristin @ E!Online

Heroes‘ Kristin Bell

Kristen Bell may have appeared on just one episode of Heroes so far this season,  but it wasn’t the last we’ll be seeing of Elle Bishop — nor the last of her confrontations with Sylar.

In her significant, single appearance, Elle managed to take down the show’s big baddie. “I felt really good!,” Bell said of her character’s bold move. She spoke with TVGuide.com at Hollywood Life Magazine’s 5th annual Hollywood Style Awards on Sunday, where she was presenting her own stylist, Nicole Chavez, with an award.

Yet, the actress is even more excited about the intrigue and revelations to come. “I have a lot more interaction with him [Sylar], which is great for me, because Zach Quinto is a very dear friend,” she said. “This year’s storyline for me was so exciting, because they did a lot of flashbacks, and they interwove my storyline previously with other characters, so I realized that I’m a more important character than I anticipated.”

This new importance will also hinge on the jobless, fatherless Elle’s new agenda: Avenging her father. Asked if she’ll be back with a mission, Bell grinned: “Absolutely!”

Should Elle seek revenge for her father’s death? How will her return affect Mama Petrelli’s Company coup? Do you think she’ll be able to take Sylar down again — this time, for good? — TV Guide

Heroes‘ Brea Grant

From TV Guide

Last week brought a major twist for Heroes‘ Daphne. Apparently, in the future she trades her track pants for some (gasp) mom jeans — and she’s also out for Peter’s head. Spunky series newcomer Brea Grant tried to make sense of it all and reveals a few things to watch for. (Hint: Keep an eye out for the Speedster’s most prized possession.) NBC’s Heroes airs Mondays at 9 pm/ET. — Sara Scott, TV Guide

TVGuide.com: When you got the role, did you know that you were going to be this deeply involved in the story?
Brea Grant: I had an idea because when I screen tested, it was with Masi Oka and Greg Grunberg. So I did know that [Matt] was going to be my soul mate, but that’s about it.

TVGuide.com: Will we see how Daphne and Parkman fall in love?
Grant: You’ll definitely see more of them [together]. The dream you saw in the last episode motivates him to search for her. They’re going to meet up in the near future, actually.

TVGuide.com: Is it safe to assume that he does not find her by following a turtle through the desert?
Grant: You’d be surprised. The turtle may not lead him there, but it’s around for a long time. I will tell you, that turtle outlasts a lot of cast members.

TVGuide.com: Future Daphne seems a lot more mellow than the thief Hiro has been chasing. Will there be friction when Parkman doesn’t find the Daphne he’s expecting?
Grant: He’s a little thrown. We definitely seem like opposites at this point in time. Daphne is very playful, but she has to make some hard decisions about where her life is going, so she may calm down a bit. She sees all these things happen involving the formula and she has to make decisions about who she ends up with – which may or may not be the future that you saw.

TVGuide.com: Is the formula Mohinder created using Maya’s tears different than what’s on the papers Daphne’s been stealing?
Grant: There’s no way I can tell you that.

TVGuide.com: It seems that the people we’ve come to know as heroes could turn out to be villains. Does that mean Daphne might actually be one of the good guys?
Grant: Daphne is a villain only in that she has a purpose and it’s hurting one of the people we know as a hero. She may be a little untrustworthy, but she’s not going around killing people.

TVGuide.com: So when she held a knife to Ando’s throat, she wouldn’t have really hurt him?
Grant: [Laughs] Daphne is a girl who has a different set of rules than we have. She feels like she has to do what she has to do to get the life she wants. So while she wouldn’t have killed him, she would have put him in a lot of pain… in order to make sure that she got her way. And she would feel a little bad about it later.

TVGuide.com: And by “getting her way,” you mean… money? She didn’t appear to be very emotion-driven at the time.
Grant: Actually, you’ll find out that she is emotionally invested in, as well as being paid for, what she’s doing.

TVGuide.com: Is that why she was so hung up on the track medal? Wouldn’t winning a high school meet be boring for her?
Grant: That would reveal a secret I can’t tell you. But it will play a bigger part than people realize. Her motivations for what she’s doing are complicated, and some of the decisions she has to make involve who she’s working for.

TVGuide.com: Because she’s working for… ?
Grant: I can’t tell you that! But it’s going be cool. You find out in [this week’s] episode. And of course, it’s complicated.

Friday Night Lights Spoilers!

The season is amazing—it has everything that made the first year so wonderful, but refreshed and up-to-date—but Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) is not as flawless. In fact, he and brother Billy (Derek Phillips) become thieves in a coming episode. That said, Riggs is generally trying to go straight this year. He wants to overcome everyone’s low expectations of him—he’s especially hoping to change Buddy Garrity’s very negative view of 33 dating his daughter.

Also, the ambitious McCoys continue to push J.D. into a starting quarterback slot, and other boosters start to agree that maybe Matt Saracen is no longer the man for the job. — Kristin at E!Online

New Greek Spoilers! Rusty / Evan Fight!

Silly Rusty (Jacob Zachar) thought it would be smart to hit Evan Chambers (Jake McDorman) upside the head while at Doblers, since Evan was sleeping around on his sister. Word is Evan will get his revenge in a coming episode that takes place during Hell Week. There will be a legendary—wait for it—Battle Royale between the Omega Chis and the Kappa Taus, and Rusty’s face may twinge just a bit after that. — Kristin at E!Online

Heros Spoilers & Episode Recap: A Hero will die!

Milo Ventimiglia, Zachary Quinto
NBC Photo / Chris Haston
From Kristin at E!Online

Someone’s going to die on Heroes. A real Hero. A real death. And it is happening real soon.

A fan-favorite villain is getting killed off, too!

Episode Recap

Linderman Is Imaginary: Well, well, well, apparently Linderman isn’t undead after all. Maury Parkman, father of Matt (Greg Grunberg), has been using his mind-control powers to project images of Mr. Linderman into the consciousness of Nathan Petrelli and Daphne Millbrook. Why? Because Arthur Petrelli, who is so totally alive (much to Angela’s dismay), told him that was what needed to be done. Maury quaking in his boots in the presence of Arthur—despite the fact that Arthur is bedridden—gives us a hint of the senior Petrelli’s power.

Beware Mohinder’s Lair: Mohinder seems to have freaked out on his girl Maya and ensnared her in one of his superdisturbing cocoon concoctions! The good news? That should keep Maya quiet for a while. The bad news? We seem to be losing Mohinder to the dark side pretty quickly now!

Company Men: Is that a black hole in your hand, or are you just happy to see me? Sylar, HRG and Claire joined forces to capture a Level-Five escapee who can create vortexes with just a flick of his hand. HRG betrayed Claire’s trust by trying to off Sylar, but not before Sylar saved Claire’s life. I’m very confused about who to trust at this point, but I do know that Jack Coleman‘s HRG and Zachary Quinto‘s Sylar should definitely star in some kind of Heroes spinoff as crime-fighting federal agents. They could drive around the country, wear suits and play good-cop, bad-cop, and it would be awesome.

Masi Oka Heroes

Frank Ockenfels/NBCWait, That’s Not Supposed to Happen: Um, did Hiro just kill Ando by sticking a sword through his gut? That can’t be right! Lucky for Ando, there’s a loophole at work here. Care to guess at the nature of that loophole in the comments? On another note, I love the way Hiro views the world through the lens of his fictional heroes—when he hits a club known to be populated with supers, he says “Oh this is the cantina,” right out of Star Wars. Hiro rocks.

WHAT’S TO COME

A Hero Is Going Six Feet Under! And I think most of you will be OK with who this soon-to-be-dead hero is. She (yes, she) has been grating on my nerves personally since day one of this-here season three. (Mostly because I want her off of my hot specimen of a former human.) Is that too obvious? Whoopsie!

A Villain Is Going Six Feet Under! And the real crime? Poor fella just got out of there…Yes, a villain you and I both love is going down next week, and once he’s gone, he’s not coming back.

Mohinder Goes From Bad to Worse: No one knows what he plans to do with those cocoons, but he wants to add two more—he’s thinking of putting in a Nathan-Tracy duplex. Ruh-roh.

Claire Discovers Why She’s Special: Remember when Uncle Sylar cut off the top of her head and told her she was “different”? Before too long we will learn why and how that special-differentness came to be, and you will not be surprised to learn that the reason has everything to do with Grandma Angela, Grandpa Arthur and the whole previous corrupt generation of Heroes. (Think back to when Kaito Nakamura handed off Baby Claire to HRG.)

Friday Night Lights Episode Recap: “I Knew You When”

Lots of changes in Dillon, Texas! Jason and Smash have graduated, Tim has replaced Smash as tail back and there’s a new quarterback in town, J.D. McCoy. Tyra and Landry are taking a break and Lyla and Tim are back …hooking up. The biggest change? Tami is now the principal of Dillon High. Hold on to your footballs, y’all, because Tami as Principal Taylor against Coach Taylor (and Pushy McPushy, Buddy Garrity) promises to be a blow out of a season. One caviat to y’all reading the recap (and I promise not to use ‘y’all’ too much): I adore this show. I would marry this show and have 10,000 of its babies. But I will try to be as objective as possible (I heart you Coach Taylor!). We start the show with the Taylor’s headed to church and Julie whining about getting a car so she can “help out” (yeah right, we all said that to get our licenses). Tami isn’t happy about Julie … read more
