Blair “babysits” teenager Emma who wants to hit the top five clubs according to Gossip Girl and hopes to lose her viriginity before another student does. Emma blackmails Blair into helping her or she’ll tell her mother that Blair was the one who took Emma to clubs and got her drunk. Since Emma’s mother can help Blair get into Yale, she complies… A few beautiful foreign girls get a bit too cozy with Aaron, which will make Serena jealous. Episode 2.10: Bonfire of the Vanity Airdate: November 10, 2008

Agnes and Jenny meet with 30-year-old Scott Smith, a business manager to get financial aid. Both of the ladies try to come out as the boss of their fashion label and each have a different name for it. These differences in opinion have Jenny severe ties with Agnes, at least, business-wise. But things get complicated when Scott needs one of Jenny’s parents to sign a form that allows her to start a company even if she is underaged. When neither of her parents want to sign, Jenny thinks about becoming emancipated. Dan is writing an article about Bart for Vanity Fair. During his investigation, Dan digs up some dirt about papa Bass. Chuck is stunned to learn that his father will go to a hockey game with Dan instead of him. Shapiro, from episode 2.05, appears. Blair does not approve of the new man, Cyrus Rose (guest star Wallace Shawn), in her mother’s (guest star Margaret Colin) life, so she makes it her mission to break up the lovebirds by any means necessary. Jenny moves in with Agnes (guest star Willa Holland) as the friends move forward with their plans for a fashion line. Serena continues to fall for the new guy in her life, Aaron (guest star John Patrick Amedori), but she learns something about him that threatens to end things just as they are getting really good. Dan decides to win the trust of Bart Bass (guest star Robert John Burke) in order to learn more about the man and possibly write an expose on him for Vanity Fair, but things get heated after Chuck finds out the real reason Dan is spending so much time around his family. The episode features two characters who are almost copies of Chuck and Blair. Chuck 2.0 and Blair 2.0 instantly click. Later, Blair and Chuck talk to Chuck 2.0 and Blair 2.0 respectively to tell them how to live their relationship. A Private Investigator who did some work for Bart before contacts the elder Bass for an emergency meeting since he has important info to share with Bart. Aaron displays photographs he took of Serena at the gallery. One of Aaron’s ex, Lexi, is at the gallery and eventually clicks with Dan.
