House Spoilers! House-Cuddy Kiss & Romance!

“House” will relocate from Tuesday to Monday 8 p.m. as of Jan. 19 to make room for “Idol.”

Nov. 25: Emmy winner Zeljko Ivanek guest-stars on an extended episode of House (8-9:08 pm/ET) in which the team is held hostage.

Omarepps Everyone’s talking about Cameron and Chase and House and Cuddy. How about some Foreman scoop? -Jen
He’s going rogue. Foreman is just itching to move out of House’s shadow… like we can’t tell from the annoyance all over his face each week. Anyway, he’ll take on a case of his own this month, attempting to assert his independence. But word is, the prodigal son will probably be forced to return to the master for help or risk his young patient’s life. — Zap2It’s Korbi TV

Question: Now, Ausiello, you know you can’t use words like “light fondling” in regards to House and Cuddy and not provide some details. That is just torturing us!
Ausiello: I was trying to be tasteful about it. My mistake. House grabs a handful of Cuddy’s left breast on Dec. 2. Better?
Question: Do you have any scoopage on the upcoming hostage episode on House? —
Ausiello: Not really, but here’s something else about the aforementioned Dec. 2 episode that’s pretty momentous: For the first time, Thirteen will refer to herself by her real name, Remy.  Source: EW

Matt’s Mega Rave: Is a kiss sometimes just a kiss? House deftly addressed that question this week as the surly surgeon and Cuddy struggled to make sense of their spontaneous mash session. Contrary to fans’ fears, the lip-lock did not make our Dr. Nasty weak in the needling (“I hit that,” he exaggerated to staffers picking up on tension between him and the boss lady). The episode’s best moment came when Wilson got Cuddy (and us) thinking that things would not necessarily have to be “messy” were she to prescribe romance for herself and House. — TV Guide

House Boss: “Huddy” Romance Is “Unorthodox, Yet Incredibly Real”

by Matt Mitovich, TV Guide

At this moment, neither House (played by Hugh Laurie) nor Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) knows what to make of their spontaneous, born-out-of-sadness lip-lock. He, of course, is passive-aggressively shrugging it off, while she tried to deny to Wilson that she had any interest in her underling … only to instead prove that she has thought about it. A lot. At the close of this week’s episode, House got as far as his boss’ doorstep, but couldn’t quite bring himself to ring her bell (literally or figuratively).

Should fans of Fox’s House brace themselves for one of television’s most unorthodox romances? “It’s funny, because I think you’re right to say ‘unorthodox,’ and at the same time I think it’s probably more real than any other love relationship on TV, in that relationships are complicated,” series executive producer Katie Jacobs told during a conference call with reporters.

Detailing the hurdles facing “Huddy,” she says, “[They] work together, there’s obvious chemistry and obvious respect, but there are barbs and there is jousting…. It is unorthodox, and at the very same time incredibly real.”

And really divisive for the show’s fan base, which would be hard-pressed to reach a consensus on where “this” (whatever it might be) should go. “They may not be right for each other,” Jacobs conceded later in the call. “But I love the fact that some people like them and some don’t. I could right now make a case for it, make a case against it. To me, that’s interesting.”

No matter what happens next, it will not be predictable. “I don’t think it will go on in a sort of ‘Now everything is shifting and this is the story’ kind of way,” Jacobs ventured. “Hopefully we’ll explore it in a very House-ian way, which is, ‘It’s there, so now what do we do?’ But don’t expect to see dates at the movies. It’s not going to unfold like that.”

Not that anyone would ever envision House holding Cuddy’s hand while popping Mike & Ikes at a chick flick. As Jacobs notes, “We take our own slant on the world, and it’s usually a bit harsher and … spicier than most shows. But at the same time, that gives us the same [opportunity] to hit a real sweetness.”

Zeljko Ivanek (“Damages”) Guest-Stars

Episode Directed by HOUSE Executive Producer Katie Jacobs

A gun-wielding man from the waiting room at the Princeton-Plainsboro clinic takes House, Thirteen and several patients from the waiting room hostage in Cuddy’s office. The man claims to be sick with a long undiagnosed illness and demands medical attention from the best doctor in the hospital, threatening to kill any hostages necessary along the way. With a room full of already sick patients, House must use them as guinea pigs to assure the hostage-taker that the medications he is administering to him are legitimate. As Cuddy and the rest of House’s team communicate with House over the phone to run tests and offer possible diagnoses, they ponder the possibility that the hostage-taker has nothing physically wrong with him and that everyone in Cuddy’s office could wind up dead. With one hostage already shot, Thirteen wagers her own already diminished health as she simultaneously receives the experimental treatments the hostage is receiving. Her life lies in danger as House’s own determination to diagnose the hostage-taker threatens to thwart the SWAT team’s plan to put an end to the standoff in the “Last Resort” episode of HOUSE airing Tuesday, Nov. 25 (8:00-9:08 PM ET/PT) on FOX. By Korbi Ghosh,

Hughlaurie So, I just got off a teleconference with House executive producer Katie Jacobs, and the call couldn’t have come at a better time given last night’s relationship-heavy episode, no?

Of course, the major question on most people’s mind is, how is this House-Cuddy thing going to play out now that they have not only kissed, but it is also clear that House is actually considering the fact that he has feelings for her.

Well… when Jacobs was asked whether or not viewers should brace themselves for one of TV’s most unorthodox love affairs, she pretty much said yes. From what I understand, the Huddy storyline will continue to play out over the course of several episodes this season. As you may imagine, it won’t overtake the series — as House eps will always revolve around the medical mysteries — However, the upcoming patients-of-the-week will tie into Princeton Plainsboro’s personal stories and allow the House-Cuddy relationship to reveal itself little by little.

Lisaedelstein Said Jacobs, “I don’t think that it will go on in a sort of predictable — okay, now everything is shifting and this is the story — kind of way. We explore it in a very Housian way, which is, it’s there… and now what do we do? But don’t expect to see dates or see them going to the movies. It’s not going to unfold like that!”

If you are a Huddy fan and are feeling the chemistry, you can look forward to December’s Christmas episode, in which Jacobs said there is a very satisfying surprise for Cuddy and for House, in a personal kind of way. But she was quick to add this: “I do not mean that they wind up embracing each other and [confessing their love]. You know, it’s Housian, it’s left of center.”

Could it have something to do with a baby? I honestly don’t know, but I can say for sure that we will see more of the Cuddy motherhood storyline in the coming months. That is a ball that won’t be dropped.

Jennifermorrison If you’re not a Huddy fan and are still holding out hope for him and Cameron, don’t think all is lost. The road is long and Jacobs mentioned that they don’t know where House will ultimately end up: “[House and Cuddy] may not be right for each other! I like the fact that some people like it and some people don’t, because I think that that’s what’s so interesting to us about the relationship. Right now, I could make a case for it and I could make a case against it. The fact that there are two sides, that feels real to me.”

As far as his chemistry with Cameron goes, Jacobs basically said the cranky doc is holding all the cards. “I think it’s mostly going to be up to House. I think that he could have a relationship with any one of [the women he works with]! I think that House, as a character, as a whole, has an emptiness. And I think that what most of these women want to do is see if they can ease his pain somehow and be the one to smooth out those rough edges… But he’s got to be in the mind space and be in a place where he’s ready to make himself vulnerable. I don’t see him as being in that place entirely at the moment. But at times, I think we’ve seen glimpses of him getting closer.”

Jessespencer Me? I like House with Cuddy. They seem evenly matched. Though Cameron knows House well, I’ll always view him as her superior, and I liked what they did with her and Chase last night. You?

Major Ghost Whisperer Spoilers: What the Producers had to Say about Jim’s Death and Jim & Melinda!

Davidconrad_jenniferlovehewitt_ghos Ghost Whisperer

Since I’ve received so much email about what’s happening on Ghost Whisperer, I thought I would pass along note from Ian Sander, Kim Moses and P.K. Simonds, the producers of the show, to the fans. My problem is I don’t think the Jim (David Conrad) and Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) romance needed a reboot. You all have to let me know what you think after you’ve seen Friday’s episode. Here’s what the producers had to say:

This coming Friday night, a new episode of Ghost Whisperer will hit the air — it is very, very powerful. And, at the end of the episode, there is a big surprise.

But the key to Jim and Melinda’s future (and the rest of Season 4) lies in the very next episode titled “Heart and Soul,” which airs November 21. It’s one of the most romantic episodes we’ve ever done. You will laugh and you will cry — tears of joy.

This new voyage of discovery in the Ghost Whisperer world will take Jim and Melinda’s relationship to another level. It reboots their love story and gives them something few people ever get — a second chance at true love. Thanks for taking this journey with us!

Privileged Scoop: CW Orders Five More ‘Privileged’ Eps

Breaking: CW Orders Five More ‘Privileged’ Eps

by Michael Ausiello, EW

Priviledged_l It’s the news we’ve been waiting for, Privileged fans. In what amounts to a major vote of confidence, The CW has ordered five additional episodes of Rina Mimoun’s increasingly addictive Tuesday night drama. What’s more, the net is temporarily giving the ratings-challenged (and People’s Choice nominated) show one of its most coveted time slots: Mondays at 9 p.m. after Gossip Girl. On Dec. 1 and 8, Privileged will air behind original episodes of Gossip Girl, replacing previously scheduled One Tree Hill repeats. Those two Privileged eps will then be rebroadcast in the show’s usual time slot, Tuesdays at 9 pm. Season to date, Privileged has averaged a so-so 2.1 rating among women 18 to 34, its target demo. In light of the Monday experiment and the five-episode pickup, The CW clearly feels the show has the potential to grow.

America’s Next Top Model: Kristin thinks the Winner will be McKey!

The Top Model Winner Has to Be…

ANTM, Analeigh, Samantha, McKey, Marjorie

Ever since Mr. Jay Manuel and Miss J. Alexander told me the winner of this cycle of America’s Next Top Model is “obvious,” the answer has proven anything but, right?

Well, I’m now told that’s because those sneaky ANTM editors and producers have gone to great lengths all season long to conceal just how obvious this winner is.

“Trust me, whenever it’s kind of obvious they cut it out because they don’t want to give it away,” explains Mr. Jay.

That said, I’m now convinced the winner has to be…

The CW

ANTM, McKey Sullivan

McKey—don’t you think? Who else have we seen so very little of this season? Who else knocked the socks off all the designers at her “go-sees” in Amsterdam last week, booking every single one of her potential jobs?

They may be able to edit the judges’ praise and adoration, but they couldn’t edit out that, and being 100 percent bankable to designers is key.

McKey has flown so far under the radar (think about it: very little footage of her behind the scenes has been shown compared to the other girls), and yet the occasional comments we do hear about her include how “stunning” and “striking” her face is—not to mention she’s just about as tall and modelesque as they come. And she even rocks impressive designer duds at panel!

Personally, I am sold.

Meanwhile, though, has just released the following odds on ANTM, placing Analeigh as the front-runner:

  • Analeigh (2-to-1)
  • McKey (9-to-4)
  • Marjorie (7-to-2)
  • Samantha (6-to-1)

Who is right? Who are you feeling? Check out the sneak peeks of tomorrow night’s new ep below, and then post your personal predictions in the comments…

Latest Ghost Whisperer Spoilers: Jim is going to steal a body to live again?

Here’s the latest on Friday’s episode “Threshold” from Michael Ausiello:

“Here’s your reason to keep watching: Jim’s not going into the light without a fight. This Friday, his ghost drops a metric ton of angst all over his grief-stricken widow when he refuses to cross over to the other side. By episode’s end, he pulls a morally questionable move on a dead guy in an effort to join the living again.”

Strangely enough all the promo photo for “Heart & Soul” episode 4.08 show Jim as Jim as part of the world of the living. So how are they going to have Jim steal another body, but look the same? And do you think Jim inhabiting another person’s body is better or worse than having him as a ghost?

Make sure to read some older posts for more info on “Threshold” and Jim’s death.
