Episode 5.06 – Don’t Dream It’s Over [Airing February 5]: Peyton snaps at bar owner Owen and later apologizes to him in his car, slipping off her t-shirt and trying to entice him to sleep with her. Peyton goes back to visit her old house and see her old room, in which a 16-year-old girl named Molly is now living. Lindsey is visiting Lucas for the weekend, obviously in a relationship with him. She and Haley have become friends. Nathan and Skills have a conversation about what is true and not true. He mentions to Nathan about never dating girls named Bevin and something about Dan. Episode 5.07 – In da Club [Airing February 12]: Brooke, Peyton and Mouth are at Tric. Mouth talks to a young woman named Milly, telling her a story about crawling out a window on a date and she admits that guys usually try and date her to meet Brooke Davis. He’s shocked to find out she knows Brooke. Meanwhile, Brooke is sitting at the bar signing autographs for fans. Episode 5.08 [Airing February 19]: One of the players on Nathan’s team punched out a guy in a bar, trying to defend Haley’s honor, and sprains his wrist in the process. Nathan is upset that he did it, jeopardizing the team and the guy’s chance to play. Peyton is back in town but Lucas has already proposed to Lindsey. Episode 5.09 [Airing February 26]

Episode 5.10 [Airing March 4]: Rachel is in Brooke’s apartment after she OD’d on drugs because Brooke fired her. Rachel’s dealer comes to Brooke’s apartment to get money owed to him by Rachel and Owen answers the door, pushes the guy around, throws him out and after giving him a few bills, tells him it’s paid in full and to never come back. Dan is up for parole and Lucas and Nathan go to his parole hearing. He makes a “heartfelt” speech, even squeezing out a few tears, telling the board he wants to be a real father to them now, after what he’d put them through growing up. Lucas tells the board that he is getting married next week and like the basketball championship and the publishing of his first novel, the most important man in his life, his Uncle Keith, won’t be there because Dan killed him in cold blood and with premeditation. He mentions that how could a man be paroled whose two sons never even came to see him in prison and the board surprises Luke and mentions that Nathan recently came to visit their father.
