New Major Greek Spoilers: Frannie’s Leaving? Maybe Graduating?

Max has given up grad school for Casey, which he’ll make a point of a lot, but when he goes out of town for a month, look for Cappie and Casey to get into some trouble. (Watch With Kristin)

Exclusive: ‘Greek’ cuts a sister (major spoiler alert!)

by Michael Ausiello

Greekseason2_lGiving new meaning to Hell Week, a major cast-member on ABC Family’s Greek has been pink-slipped. But I have to warn you: This piece of news qualifies as a DEFCON 1 spoiler, as the actress in question figures prominently in a major ongoing storyline. In other words, read on at your own damn risk!

Okay, here we go: Sources confirm to me exclusively that ding, dong the witch is dead. The witch in this case being Zeta Beta beeyatch Frannie, played with wicked zeal by Tiffany Dupont.

Although a rep for the ABC Family hit declined comment, my Greek mole tells me that Dupont will not be returning as a series regular for the show’s just-announced third season. The decision, per the source, was primarily a creative one, although budget considerations were a factor as well.

Don’t expect Frannie to go quietly into the night though (as if!). Casey’s arch nemesis will be featured heavily in the second half of season 2, which picks up on March 30 where last October’s cliff-hanger left off: With the evil genius going rogue and forming her own rival sorority, Iota Kappa Iota.

In light of this news, I’m guessing her plan backfires. Either that or the ZBZ house falls on her during a freak tornado. Actually, scratch the Greek tragedy theory: I’m told producers hope to bring Dupont back as an occasional guest star.

What do you think? Sad to see Greek‘s answer to Alexis Carrington go? Or was Frannie’s scheming sister act starting to grate? Sound off below!

New Ugly Betty Spoilers!

Dexter‘s Lauren Vélez guest stars in a four-episode arc beginning Feb. 5. She plays Ignacio’s nurse (remember he recently suffered a heart attack), and things get a little hot and steamy! Yes, Ignacio is getting some hot-nurse lovin’! Vélez tells me Ignacio will survive, and Betty will have to deal with his new relationship. Source: Kristin on E!Online

Betty contemplates making a personal decision to help her family and finances. But things keep sidetracking her like the fact that sexy neighbor Jesse (guest star Val Emmich) is suddenly interested in her again. Meanwhile, Daniel tries to hide his tracks as Connor is determined to find out the identity of the mystery man who stole Molly’s heart. Guest starring are Grant Bowler as Connor Owens, Sarah Lafleur as Molly, Lauren Velez as Elena and Val Emmich as Jesse. Source: ABC
Dexter co-star Lauren Velez has been tapped for a multiepisode arc on ABC’s dramedy Ugly Betty. She will play Elena, a nurse that enters the lives of the Suarez family, on the ABC Studios-produced series. Details about her character and how she will interact with Betty (America Ferrera) and the rest of the Suarez clan are being kept under wraps, but word is that she is tied to a plot twist that might involve the death of a major character. Episode 3.14: The Courtship of Betty’s Father Airdate: February 12, 2009

Betty tapes a video tribute for Claire Meade’s 60th birthday that’s very revealing, just not in the way she planned. But the real shocker comes when Betty accidentally leaves the camera on at home and discovers some revealing footage about Ignacio. Fashion Week brings chaos to the Modies, as Betty copes with simultaneously putting on a show for a bizarre new designer named Heinrich and with an assignment from YETI to partner up with Matt (guest star Daniel Eric Gold), who works at a sports magazine, to learn about each other’s jobs. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina fears she’s lost her edge in the fashion world because she’s been spending too much time with Conner, Daniel tries giving Molly a makeover, and a new member of the Mode team makes a dramatic entrance. Guest starring are Bernadette Peters as Jodie, Grant Bowler as Connor Owens, Sarah Lafleur as Molly, Lauren Velez as Elena, Daniel Eric Gold as Matt, Alec Mapa as Suzuki St. Pierre and Michael Stuhlbarg as Heinrich.

01/28 – [February 18 is] when Daniel Eric Gold debuts as Betty’s new love interest, Matt. Word is the YETI hottie is concealing a major secret, and it’s not that he’s loaded (although he isn’t terribly forthcoming about that bit, either). Source: The Ausiello Files

Multiple sources confirm that Daniel Eric Gold has been cast in the recurring role of Matt, a seemingly Henry-esque hottie with whom Betty meets at YETI (Young Editors’ Training Initiative). I’m told Betty producers have big plans for Betty and Matt. The kind of big plans that led them to include a series regular option in Gold’s just-inked contract. Source: The Ausiello Files

What is with the abrupt ending to the hot storyline between Wyatt Lockheart and Addison on Private Practice?
Wyatt got another job! Or rather, Jay Harrington, who plays Wyatt, got another job. He’s going to be appearing on a new ABC comedy called Better Off Ted. Archer (Grant Show) is his replacement, and Archer’s tumor is motivation for Thursday’s big Grey’s AnatomyPrivate Practice crossover.

Anything on the Private Practice side of the crossover?
It turns out Archer’s tumor is a lot more serious than anyone imagined. It’s not a tumor at all—he has parasites on the brain. Archer refuses treatment until he cannot make the decision for himself, which is when Addison, Archer and Naomi fly off to Seattle.

What’s going on with Violet’s baby?

Violet (Amy Brenneman) finally realizes she is pregnant this week when Dell lets her hear the heartbeat, but she has a panic attack. She is not ready to be a mother at all. This week, Izzie (Katherine Heigl) finally gets proactive in figuring out what’s wrong with her, using the interns to run every test imaginable without their knowledge. The tests show up clear, but here’s the kicker: There may very well have been a mix-up, and Izzie could very well be dying. I buy Kelly as the guidance counselor and Brenda being in town for a play. But how are they going bring Donna back into the 90210 fold?
MICKEY: Remember my idea? Well, let’s just say I wasn’t that far off — at least about the Japan part. But I can’t take credit for the Kelly-Donna scene in the lesbian bar; that’s all them. —

Shannen Doherty is returning for one more episode in May. Could this be the Brenda-Donna reunion we’ve been waiting for?! Sure couldn’t! I’m told the two won’t be sharing any scenes. Bum-mer. — (Michael Ausiello)

Looks like all of the emotional turmoil Silver (Jessica Stroup) has been going through is going to get worse before it gets better. When she goes MIA, the gang launches a manhunt to find her that leads everyone to a train station, where one of our beloved 90210ers will end up in a sticky situation out on the tracks. — (Watch With Kristin)

Ty finds out he is the baby daddy in last night’s episode, but we won’t find out when the deed was done for a while. Adam Gregory tells me, “That will probably be revealed in later episodes, so we’ll have to see how that unfolds.” No doubt this will have an affect on Ty and Annie’s friendship, or possible romance. “When it happened, how it happened plays a big part in Ty and Annie’s little relationship,” adds Gregory. (Watch With Kristin)

So excited about Donna Martin’s return, but do you really know for sure that she and David are still married?
Yep. They’re still hitched and co-habitating in Japan. But Donna’s contemplating a move back to BH, because she’s not happy overseas. However, if she does relocate, her already rocky relationship with David will be in real danger. Best cast scenario? Donna opens a store on Robertson and while here, David returns to be with her. Brian Austin Green tells me he’s down. And if Terminator tanks after its upcoming move to Friday, he’ll be freed up to do so. 90210 Video: Tori and Jennie Reunite on Set!

Note to Tori Spelling: Texting while driving is against the law, sister-friend!

Granted, things may be a little different when you are shooting a scene for the CW’s 90210 and being pulled by a big ol’ truck.

In the exclusive video above, you fans can see Tori and Jennie Garth reuniting for their first day back together on the 90210 set, shooting a scene with Jessica Stroup while cruising down Sunset Boulevard in Donna’s sweet ride. (See more exclusive photos below.)

So, question: Why is Donna Martin so well-endowed (now, um, financially speaking)?

Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling Revolutionpix/Fame Pictures

On the show, I’m told Tori’s Donna Martin will be a successful store owner who is huge in Japan and is considering opening a store in L.A. According to sources, she’s hit a rough patch in her relationship with David Silver (Brian Austin Green).

I’m told the scene Tori and Jennie were shooting yesterday was no big thing, just the girls going out to lunch. Still, as you can see in the video, when two 90210 icons are on set, the executive producer (Gabe Sachs, seen in the front of the van) sees to it personally that things are going A-OK.

Tori is currently set to do three episodes toward the end of the season.

You excited to see her?

90210 – Casting Call – Naomi’s Sister

#fullpost{display:none;}[JEN CLARK]
Female, 20, Caucasian, hot. A cool, slick, supremely self-confident bad girl who is Naomi’s (AnnaLynne McCord) older sister. Jen isn’t at all needy or vulnerable-she’s totally self-contained and lives by her own rules. Jen’s main priority is looking out for number one. She knows how to work the system to her advantage, and she makes no apology for feeling that she’s better than most people. Jen was always “the smart one” in the family-she went to Yale and has recently been living in Paris. Her time abroad has made her more cosmopolitan than Naomi, who worships her older sister. Jen’s credo is survival of the fittest-she’s ruthless, narcissistic and completely amoral. She gets away with all this because she’s also beautiful and charming and can wrap men around her little finger. Jen has dated every rich, handsome man on two continents and has had adventures that are the stuff of great memoirs-but since Jen is also a pathological liar, maybe none of her stories are true. Jen’s role in Beverly Hills will be to stir things up and cause trouble for Naomi and others.sptv050769..LARGE RECURRING GUEST STAR – AT LEAST FOUR OR MORE EPISODES. 90210 – Casting News

Here’s some scoop on Noureen Dewulf’s guest spot on 90210 next week!

“I play Nika Raygani who is a student at West Beverly Hills High. Nika and Navid meet at a house party and form an instant connection after his friends Dixon and Christina help him approach her,” the actress tells the TV Fanatic.

“Nika is a sweet character who is also of Iranian heritage like Navid, so they have a lot in common. She gets caught up in some drama though so I guess we shall see where she ends up!”

Noureen, who has appeared on Numb3rs and CSI: NY, was a fan of the original 90210.

“I watched it growing up so it’s pretty cool to be a part of this second generation revival.”

Let’s hope some more members of the original cast get hit with your sentiment soon, Noureen!

Look for Noureen to make her two-episode arc debut on 90210 Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. on The CW.

Are Ty & Ethan Going To Brawl? ‘90210’s’ Baby Daddy Adam Gregory Talks

Source: Zap2It’s Korbi TV

Adamgregory Two weeks ago, Ty Collins — the Tom Welling lookalike who almost took Annie Wilson’s lady flower last Fall — popped back up on the 90210 scene after a lengthy absence. Rocking Annie’s boat a bit during drama club auditions, Ty has returned with a hint of vengeance. But the joke’s on him, because tonight he’ll learn that he’s Adrianna’s baby daddy.

I was on set for the filming of this evening’s episode and got to spend some good quality time with sweet-as-pie Adam Gregory, who plays Ty. Plus I was courtside to see how the character’s super posh parents decide to deal with the pregnancy news. Adam talked pretty candidly about the whole situation…

So, in the last ep, we saw a slightly different Ty back at West Bev. More aggressive?
Adam Gregory:
Yeah, he’s a bit manlier, which I think everyone will like. I like it. When he was dating Annie, he was kind of whipped. He really fell hard for her and when she decided they were just going to be friends, he took it because he was a nice guy. But it struck something inside him. So he’s a little bit harsher now. He’s not going to be tied down. He does kind of look at Adrianna with a little [sparkle] in his eye, but he’s afraid. And you never know where that’s going to go because Ty is such a playboy. Now you guys understand how much of a playboy Ty is. He literally just broke up with Annie and started getting it on with a bunch of girls, including Adrianna, during her drug stint, and he knocked her up. He’s kinda crazy. We just didn’t get to see it [on-screen]. But coming back as the baby’s daddy is the coolest thing in the world because me and [actress] Jessica [Lowndes] (Adrianna) are so close, and we hang out all the time. So, the one person I’d love to be the baby daddy for is Jessica. We fit so well. It’s amazing. Time flies on the set.

You did five episodes at the beginning of the season, but then you just sort of disappeared. Did you have any idea you’d be returning?
AG: No, I didn’t know. People kept asking, so what’s next? And it was like, we don’t know. Nobody knows. We literally find out two days before we get our script.

This is your first series, right?
AG: Yeah this is my first series.

So do you feel more comfortable playing Ty the second time around?
AG: Oh, immensely. It’s unbelievable. Have you ever done something and then looked back on it later and gone, oh my God, I wish I could do that differently, I wish I could do this differently? I was starting to feel that way [about my performance in the first few episodes] since I was [off the show] for so long. And then they called me with this great storyline and my jaw dropped to the floor ‘cause now I get to do all those things I didn’t do before. I’m adding layers, I’m adding character, I’m adding depth. There’s so many things that could happen with Ty that I’m just really excited about. They could take it anywhere they want, essentially. Of course, I could also be gone. But wherever they want [my character] to go is open and up in the air and I love the feeling of that.

Jessicalowndes What is Ty’s reaction when he finds out that he’s the baby’s father?
AG: It is utter shock. ‘Cause when I first read the script, I looked at it and I just stopped. And that’s what I wanted to bring to the character, where you just stop and you’re in the moment. You’re thinking about all the things that could happen… being a father, things that you can and can’t do with your child and the rest of your life. I mean, he’s only 16. Trying to make it through high school with a kid, it’s hard. So obviously a lot is going through his head when she drops the bomb. It’s a big bomb. He totally spaces out and is very unsympathetic. He doesn’t think about her feelings, he’s really all in his head. Ty is a very strong-minded individual and he’s out for himself, and not so much for others. He’s narcissistic. He loves to be on stage, he loves the spotlight, he loves the attention and he thinks about what’s good for him. And his family only thinks about him as well. His mom is really controlling and wants the best for him, so he takes what she says and just goes with it. He doesn’t really think twice about it, because whatever she’s said so far, it’s always worked, and she runs the family. It doesn’t matter if he has any sort of feelings for the baby or for Adrianna, whatever mom says, goes. But it’s tearing him up inside. It’s heart wrenching.

So he has mixed feelings.
AG: He has very mixed feelings. Because deep down, Ty is actually a good guy and he knows what the right thing to do is. He doesn’t want to be unsympathetic to Adrianna. She needs to take [the decisions regarding the pregnancy] slowly. But [he and his family] are just [insisting on] sending her away to [a nice facility in] New Mexico and all of that. He’s kind of just telling her what’s going to happen, not so much asking her, you know, which is very rude.

He’s conflicted though.
AG: Yeah. I mean, it’s his family that really makes him so selfish. They’re more worried about his future than he is. Obviously, because he is going out and knocking up girls, whatever, he’s crazy. But when he’s home, he’s such a nice kid. He’s an all-star, all-American, high school kid, doing everything right… good grades, star of the drama club, just everything I think parents would want. But behind closed doors, Ty is a little freaky.

Yeah, speaking of freaky, he seemed to be throwing a little game Annie’s way last week. She and Ty obviously have a past and they’re doing a play together again, so there will be more interaction there.
AG:
Yeah. Ty is very passive aggressive with Annie. It’s like, he’s trying to play cool, but he’s really not. He knows she’s dating Ethan, so it’s like, whatever, I’m still gonna keep my eye on you. If you wanna go at it, cool, bring it on. You can come over to my house anytime. And Ethan sees [Ty’s attitude] and it’s kind of developing an [adversarial] relationship between us, where we see each other as a threat now. I think we might get into a fight.

Nice.
AG: Yeah, that would be awesome. Just because I am giving him so much [guff], so he’s probably gonna want to hit me soon. I’m not being nice about it at all, about him dating my so-called ex. I’m letting it fly out there that whatever she wants to do with me is her business. You don’t have to know about it, Ethan. It’s cool.

Shenaegrimes Do you think Annie still has feelings for Ty?
AG: We never ended on such a clear note. Things got crazy and hectic, but we’re still friends. The sexual tension is still there though. Just because you become friends doesn’t mean you don’t want to hop up on each other and start making out. So there still are some feelings there for Annie and Ty. And just as she has feelings for Ethan, I have feelings elsewhere as well. So now it’s, pardon my saying, a foursome.

Do you think Ty will stick around long-term?
AG:
I sure hope so. Hopefully they keep me around and I just keep on causing trouble. But I don’t know yet if I’ll be back. This show, it keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I’m in it. It’s really funny how it can do that to you.

Emily has a frictional relationship with her sister, Courtney, a pretty, popular pledge whom she seems reluctant to let into the sorority. When Courtney goes missing in the woods, Emily is sincerely distraught. As we later learn, Emily truly loves Courtney and was actually trying to make the initiation easier for her. However, their long-standing mistrust of one another almost results in tragedy. Courtney Harris: Emily’s younger sister 18 years old (must be a legal 18 years old), this college freshman is a pretty, popular, smart girl who is in demand at every sorority on campus. She wants to pledge her sister’s sorority, but Emily seems oddly reluctant to admit her. When Courtney goes missing during an initiation ritual in the woods, her disappearance triggers a massive manhunt, but whether she has survived her terrifying time in the wildneress remains to be seen. Episode 4.17: Delusion of Grandview Airdate: March 2009

With Sam’s help, Melinda struggles to solve the mystery of a haunting at a local kindergarten before any children are hurt — but her supernatural revelations may drive a wedge between her and the increasingly skeptical Sam. Sad Ghost/Greer Clarkson: A pretty but obviously anguished ghost in her mid to late 20s, she’s the spirit of a woman who died in the mental hospital shortly after giving birth to her only child, whom she supposedly drowned after falling into a deep post-partum depression. Now, Greer haunts her former sanatorium, which was recently converted into a kindergarten. But whether she is a dangerous psychotic bent on vengeance or a wronged victim intent on protecting the kindergarteners from harm is a troubling mystery that Melinda must unravel — and fast. Dr. Byrd: A brisk, efficient psychiatrist in his 50s, seen in flashback, he’s present at Greer’s fatal electro-convulsive therapy treatment. Greer’s trusted counselor, he is actually the uneasy and malevolent spirit of a deceased doctor whose pernicious and destructive presence has survived the decades, doing harm to those in both the spirit and living worlds. Possible recur. Doug Clarkson: A kindly, likeable man in his early 50s, he’s a happily married family man who talks to Melinda about the mother he never knew, namely, Greer Clarkson. He wishes he could have had a chance to express his love to Greer, who died in a mental hospital when he was still an infant. Thanks to Melinda’s kind intervention, he is finally able to get his wish. Rosalyn Hartsell: A warm, efficient woman in her 30s, she’s the head of Early Start Kindergarten, which used to be a local mental asylum. She knows and likes Sam, who helped in a recent renovation of the school. Believing Sam and Melinda to be a couple looking for a school for their unborn child, she shows them around the premises. Later, she is horrified when an entire kindergarten class goes missing. Penny Stovall: This dedicated kindergarten teacher, 25 years old, works at the Early Start Kindergarten. Disturbed when a young charge writes a bizarre message on the chalkboard, she’s even more upset and horrified when her entire class goes suddenly missing. Jill: Melinda’s friend, this female police officer in her early 30s explains the nature of the emergency at the Head Start Kindergarten. Straight-jacket Ghost: The male ghost of a former mental patient in his 40s, this anxious, glazed-eyed ghost has also been systematically bullied and terrified by the pernicious Dr. Byrd. Todd: This kindergartner, 5 years old, upsets his teacher, Penny Stovall, when he scrawls a disturbing message on the chalkboard — and the fact that he can’t even write yet makes the incident doubly creepy. Todd’s mother: Todd’s mother, late 20s to early 30s, she’s vastly relieved to be reunited with her missing son — but she’s frightened by his inexplicably odd behavior. Source: SpoilerTV
