Private Practice Spoilers: Tim Daly Does Not Prescribe Desk Sex

Will Pete being taking charge of Oceanside Wellness on Private Practice?
Tim Daly said “No.” “The thing about Pete is he’s very unflappable. He really does just kind of see both sides of things unless he’s taken by surprise—like he was by Addison, and by Meg to a certain extent. I think he believes that everything is going to be OK and he does his part.”  — Kristin at E!Online

Private Practice‘s Tim Daly Does Not Prescribe Desk Sex

by Matt Mitovich, TV Guide

On ABC’s Private Practice last week, new light was shed on Oceanside Wellness’ alternative-medicine man when former flame Meg popped back into his life. (They quickly picked up where they left off… right there, in his office.) What other surprises does Pete have for us? Tim Daly teases what’s to come, as well as shares a cautionary tale about the perils of desk sex. (Private Practice airs Wednesdays at 9 pm/ET.) I have to say, it’s good to see Pete doing something with another woman these days, instead of working the Addison thing so intently.
Tim Daly:
The Addison thing, it just seemed unrealistic to me. They’re adults, so if they’re not going to get it on, move on. When you reach a certain age and two people are attracted to one another, it’s like, “This ain’t high school, so what’s the impediment? Let’s … read more

New Friday Night Lights Spoilers!

Why is no one is talking about how perfect this season of Friday Night Lights is? My only quibble: The evil cowboy dude needs to leave so Tyra and Landry can be together.
I’m just getting caught up on all the episodes I missed, so that’s why I’ve been giving the show the silent treatment. But now I can join you in celebrating the beauty that is season 3. The stuff I’m loving the most: Matt reconnecting with his estranged mom (Deadwood MVP Kim Dickens, who I’m convinced was put on Earth just to make me cry); Jason’s heartbreaking (and still unfolding) farewell arc; the fact that producers are making J.D. McCoy a sympathetic figure and not some cliché-ridden spoiled rich brat (a lesser show would’ve gone there); getting Landry off the football field and into a garage band where he belongs; and, of course, any and every scene with Connie Britton. As far as the evil cowboy dude goes, he’s not bugging me as much as I thought he would. But a word of warning: He’s going to seem more evil than ever tonight when a skeleton tumbles out of his closet and right onto Tyra’s doorstep. — Michael Ausiello, Ausiello Files

Zach Roerig on Friday Night Lights is really hot! How long will he be on the show? Do he and Tyra have a future?
Possibly, possibly not, since a woman shows up on Tyra’s (Adrianne Palicki) door this week carrying what she says is Cash’s baby. Whoopsie! Did he forget to mention his baby-daddy status to Tyra? (Psst…hey, Landry, here’s your chance to get her back!) — Kristin at E!Online

Will we see some Matt and Julie action soon on Friday Night Lights?
Get ready to squee! This week, Mulie will share a smooch by the campfire. Hot! You’ll also see a lot more of J.D. McCoy (Jeremy Sumpter) as he’ll be hitting the field naked.  — Kristin at E!Online

New One Tree Hill Spoilers

Hilarie Burton, Chad Michael Murray, One Tree Hill

Fred Norris/The CW

I heard that James Van der Beek will be returning to his Dawson’s Creek stomping grounds to play a director on One Tree Hill. Will there be any fun inside jokes?
When Chad Michael Murray stopped by for this video Q&A, I asked him if JVdB is, in fact, playing wannabe filmmaker Dawson. But he is not. (The character’s name is Dixon.) As for “inside jokes,” sources tell me there is an “interesting subtext” to watch for in the Lucas-Dixon scenes. — TV Guide

Yes, I’m hearing Peyton and Lucas will be expecting a child—but things won’t go too smoothly. — — Kristin at E!Online

VIDEO: Are Tree Hill‘s Lucas & Peyton Heading for a Wedding?

by Matt Mitovich, TV Guide

In a Q&A with Chad Michael Murray, the One Tree Hill fave and TV Guide catches up on some unfinished business, getting his reaction to Lucas’ choice of fiancée. “It had to be Peyton, ultimately,” he chimes in. “They’re almost the same person.” Chad then joins in raving about Hilarie Burton’s “fantastic personality.”

At the 1:00 mark, Murray offers what he believes to be the odds of “Leyton” making it to the altar this season, and then addresses the pregnancy rumor circling the show.

After some talk of what Austin Nichol’s film producer will bring to the show during the next couple of months, Chad previews working with former Dawson’s Creek cast mate James van Der Beek, who will surface in Tree Hill as the movie director adapting Lucas’ novel: “I know [James] is going to bring it, so I’m bringing my ‘A’ game.”

Lastly, Chad weighs in on the big question: Will he stay on if Tree Hill gets picked up for another season? Get his (sneaky) answer at the 3:25 mark.

Coming late next week, in Part 2 of our video: Chad reveals the inspiration behind the 1940s-flavored One Tree Hill he wrote (airing Nov. 17), and talks about preparing to direct an episode.

90210 Episode Recap: “Secrets and Lies”

Harry finally breaks the news to Annie and Dixon about the love child he had with Naomi’s mom back during high school. Needless to say the news isn’t easy on either of the kids – especially Annie who ends up taking her anger out by boozin’ it up at Erin’s sleepover bash….read more

New Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Major McHottie & Hahn’s Departure

I love me some Major Hottie! Will he and Cristina hook up on Grey’s?

Kevin McKidd, Grey's Anatomy G.A. is now casting “star names only” for a “former military nurse who is maternal.” Might that be…the Major’s mom? If so, here’s to hoping things go better for Cristina with her than with Burke’s badass mamacita Diahann Carroll. ‘Cause I’m hearing Cristina most definitely has a “Major” romance coming on! — Kristin at E!Online

A Grey’s insider assures me that Sara Ramirez “isn’t going anywhere.” Of course, then he suggested I check in once a week for the remainder of the show’s run. You know, just to be safe.
Michael Ausiello, Ausiello Files

What about Brooke Smith leaving on Grey’s Anatomy? And her last episode is this Thursday? And Hahn’s final scene consists of her leaving work for the day?

Ausiello: I’m going to give Shonda Rhimes the benefit of the doubt and assume she’s intentionally leaving Hahn’s exit ambiguous and, therefore, open to interpretation. Sort of like the Sopranos finale. Did Hahn get shot to death on the way to the parking garage? Did she pull a Thelma & Louise and drive her car off a cliff? Did the hospital’s automatic doors malfunction and decapitate her? Did she return to Weeds? The possibilities are endless. Personally, I’m leaning toward the Thelma & Louise scenario. According to one of my Grey’s moles, Callie and Erica have a relationship-severing blowout in tomorrow’s episode that starts with an argument over whether Izzie paid a big enough price for her role in Denny-gate, and ends with Callie realizing she doesn’t love girls as much as Erica does. Hey, people have killed themselves over less. — Michael Ausiello, Ausiello Files
